If I could have one change made right now I'd change the value of dirt or grass tiles to be neutral instead of negative, and naturally occurring rock would also be neutral. It seems strange to me how colonists find these beautiful landscapes ugly.

Does it make sense for my colonists to wear smokepop belts or should I avoid making them? Do they help much in combat? I could see them helping if I was attacking a item stash or outpost with turrets, but do they help for base defense?

Lots of people that get thrown out of the theaters eventually band together and start their own theaters and film companies, except they produce the stupidest, most inane movies ever made. Then they manage to buy or out-compete the other companies, so now all movies are plotless garbage that appeals to rude people.

I wish I had some more model railroad supplies and equipment.

There could be "simple coffee" and "fine coffee."
Simple coffee is prepared using the stove, in real life the way to do this would be putting the beans in a strainer and pouring the hot water through the strainer into the cup.
Fine coffee could be made using a coffee machine, either a regular one with a pot and filters, or one like a Keurig, and maybe the fine coffee machine could only be bought from traders or unlocked through research.

I don't think people think that racism is any worse than murder, they are just in a different context. Most groups that do bad things either aren't oppressed, or people that do bad things just happen to belong to a larger oppressed group. Even if someone is a criminal and is oppressed for any reason besides their being a criminal (and even then, it's only ok to keep rights from criminals if it would be a direct protection to the populace, for example, if they were a murderer and wanted to join the police force where there could be a chance of them using police weapons to commit crimes) they still deserve equal rights.

Look, I never said he was a bad person. But he said "yes you can get that awesome feeling from being a horrible piece of shit to anyone you want - BUT YOU DONT HAVE TO FEEL BAD ABOUT IT." So that makes me think he thinks it is alright to be horrible to others and that you don't have to feel empathy or guilt about being a bad person, which is an opinion I don't agree with because other people's feelings matter to me.

Are you arguing that you shouldn't feel bad for being a horrible person?

And why on Earth do you believe this if you are?

Honestly though, can we not make all the weapons from present day except the charge rifle? Doesn't really feel like it spans 3000 years of future tech.

Well, the weapons have evolved, but the rimworlds are just so isolated that it's rare to see any of the better future weapons, since why would they be there? The people who made them probably want them since they are difficult/expensive to make, so most of the weapons available to rimworlds are gunpowder weapons.

I hope this is the new way the next number gets posted every time.
