Wow I never realized!
We never do, tropes happen naturally instead of cliches.

agreed. when i first heard about traps i thought it would be bear traps, spike traps, poison arrow traps, etc..
now that i think about it, why isn't there any poison in rimworld?
just imagine a bunch of tribals with poison weapons. glorious!

Traps are just bad overall. Your colonists can set them off as you mentioned and the enemies will just walk past them because it slows down there movement so they prefer to take the path that doesn't have a trap right next to it. Dead fall traps should be hitting legs, not heads to slow down the enemy, the only real purpose for a trap that does almost no damage. The mines should blow up the instant someone touches them not give the horde that is about to destroy you plenty of time to just walk by it.

This thread is amazing.
Cannot stop laughing at branch-shiv.
Just trying to figure out what an "awful" wood shiv would look like...

I have never found this to work. If you're using paint, because red paint returns only red light and blue paint returns only blue light, if you mix both red and blue paint, you get poo-brown because it now blocks most everything. In fact, any attempt I have ever made to mix any two different paint results in poo-brownish-black. A colored object appears to be the color it is because that's the color it isn't. Therefore, mixing two different colors creates a situation where an object is required to be two different colors, which it cannot be, so you get mostly nothing: Poo-colored.

What's this Red and Blue with Yellow? It's always RGB and CMYK, right? If there's Red, the the others are Green and Blue. If there's Yellow, then the others are Cyan and Magenta (and Black).
That's what I thought too. Yellow should be paired with cyan and magenta, not red and blue. o.O

you can make yellow, green is yellow + blue.

Gaming standards 101, red always means health

Yellow? Why yellow? It's always been red, green, and blue. What weirdness is this?
