Yes with the prisoners I agree, However I do not like the visitors running willy-nilly all around my base. I'd rather have them in a single room/two, or outside. It would also be beneficial when designating for cook/grower/etc. If you only want your haulers/crafters being in your room that's chocked with negative beauty and such. Which I guess is solved with the added allowed area's... But still I'd rather not have visitors running to and fro through my base.

Ideas / Door designations
July 19, 2015, 06:40:43 PM
Being able to designate doors would be amazing! With that being able to tell what pawn type is allowed through would be able to work wonders for colonies. Even if it's just the vague Visitors/colonist, and the colonist only door. You could probably go even further with it and say, cooks only door. Farmers door (For the next update when husbandry is implemented) and such and such. Would be incredibly useful with prisoners and making a prison like structure.

So long as those damned visitors don't drink my entire beer supply! Besides how would you counter that? You can't lock the doors I doubt that forbidding the doors or beer would do anything to them... Hell you'd almost have to make a colonist only door! Speaking of which i'm off to the suggestions sub-forum with this one!

There's a mod out there that adds in a second planning feature, this feature has nothing different from the original other than it's red. I cannot remember the name of said mod though.

I think it's because these scars weren't treated properly, unlike yours (i'm assuming). I'm assuming when it's says scars that it's still only a scab which is repeatedly getting torn open by the colonists movements, and what not.

July 18, 2015, 09:06:34 AM
Because there's people like me who can't. It helps cause you get time to react if the enemy has nades, as you can move them out of the explosion radius. that and I often screw up their firing line when getting them into postion.

I'm pretty sure it goes up by how many colonists you already have, I could be wrong though. It may also take into consideration how hostile the colony is with yours as well.

Eh, I've learned to kill off the colonists who don't have desireable traits and what not, esspecially if it's early game and you can afford to do it. Not only does it rid you of a weak link but it keeps the recruitment difficulty down for any hard landers or raiders.

July 17, 2015, 11:01:00 PMQuote from: A Friend on July 17, 2015, 10:22:45 PMmmm, yea although when visitors are there they should after a select amount of time they should do a check to see if any of the colonists are going to rescue them, if not then they should bring them to the hospital bed. They should then check again after a little while to see if any colonists are going to treat the wounded and if not heal them. of course this would only happen if you had a positive relation with said faction.
Hmmm, I think it would be a good mechanic if factions your on very good terms with would have a low chance to send doctors to help you if you seem to be having trouble. The higher the rep, the higher the chance.

Tynan, Instead of insta-jumping when you click on a 'jump to event' perhaps you could have it scroll there instead? that way you know which direction they are from your base (as well as not having to go searching for said base)
