I think it would be nice to be able to start a game where you are the only group on the planet, no tribes, no outlanders, not even pirates, and raiders. The reason for this is to make the game more difficult you won't get any extra people until you can build a com station and get slaver ships to come by or someone lands in an escape pod. The only major threats to your people will be the animal life which will all be hostile or auto flee as soon as a person comes close due to lack of exposure to people and also low population and later on the occasional mechanoid raid. This would also be good for scenarios that a planet killer is being used since the planet may have already been evacuated with ruined and abandoned cities on the surface.

Not sure if this has been suggested already but could you make a new zone type that is similar to the growing zone but instead of telling it to grow something it just lets your growers know that the TIB in the zone is ready for harvest?

I think waiting for new content would be better. I know myself and probably a lot of people get bored with the game after they have played for a while with each new update and having new content to experiment with keeps us playing longer. Just getting some bugfixes won't draw as many people back to the game as content will. Although I think small patches that don't constitute a new alpha update that fix small things should come out fairly regularly.

Love this mod hope ccl updates soon for you not having my Orassans in a15 really sucks. I mean who does not want to watch a Orassan going threw withdrawls tear threw all the human colonists?!
O one thing i think you should add is some way to get more Orassan colonists. Just recruiting them with the hospitality mod takes a lot of time and well pissing them off is not a wise thing to do. Maby if you can swap out the human escape pod vics with Orassans some times or make a less tech heavy pirate Orassan faction. I just think it would be nice to not have as many of those pesky weak humans around.

The hunting Zone options seems to be the best idea so far. Have a zone that you designate like any other zone and any animals that wander in to it are auto flagged for hunting. It would let you keep the animal population up in other areas so if you have a sudden food shortage you have a surplus of animals you could go hunt.

Having children is a great way to get more drama in the colony but sadly it will never happen. The amount of Flak Tynan would get would end the game for letting children die in a video game. That said there is a way around that if he just modifies the pawn code in a way that lets modders easily put it in then we can get it that way. Think of all the other games out there with children in them but you cant kill them its for the same reason we cant have children in the colony but on most of those games modders have found a way to let you kill children and the main company does not take the fall for that.
Personally I hope we get it because i think it would make a great story to have your colony almost dead but the last of the adults fall back to the nursury to protect the children.

I'd love to see a way of contacting the party that last raided me and offer to return their captured raider in exchange for some loot. Perhaps No change in relations but still a reason to capture and release instead of just a faction boost (which doesn't help with the worst of the worst anyway)
I like that idea maby demand they send you a item or silver and depending on what you ask for you actually loose more relations with that faction. It would also need to be restricted on what you can get from them based on tech level and pirates will never pay to get there people back. As an example from tibes you can request animals or silver or primitive weapons. From outlander town you could request various black powder weapons and medicine. Maby add in other factions of various tech tiers as well like a glitterworld military outpost who are by default hostile but only raid about as often as mechanoids do and then they dont try and wipe you out only fight there way to your food supplies or weapons then leave with some. If you happen to get one of these guys captive you can release them to improve relations or trade them for something high end like charger weapons or power armor and glitterworld meds.
Could also set it that you can only get them to agree to trade certain things based on how many prisoners you have. Example a tribe may accept 2 chickens for one prisoner but your going to need 2 or three people to get them to send you that muffalo.
As a event attached to this when a trade goes down they come to collect their person but during the exchange they attack and try to back out of the trade or rig that muffalo to explode after a few days.

This is a great idea although if you have one main leader of a colony they will also need their enforcer/police force to keep the peace. Maby have A new work option called sheriff or deputy that when a person has it as there highest priority if lets say two colonists start a social fight those designated Sheriffs will go and auto arrest those that started the fight to keep them from killing each other. Although instead of needing to rerecruit the colonist your sheriff would just place them in their rooms till they cool down. Or possibly instead of a work option for it have the leader of the colony appoint someone as sheriff.

In all seriousness, adding some more happiness items (Coaches, televisions, bookshelves, weight benches etc), since the game could use some more objects to boost happiness and they should be fairly easy to put in seeing as the mechanic's already there.
I agree maby have some of them be able to help improve a characters skills wile having fun maby have some training dummys or target to shoot at or beat on. Maby have books you buy for the book case that increase certain skills when read like handling or medical.

I agree there needs to be more options when contacting other colonies like having them come retrieve incap people that you may have saved from there colony. As a example: I had visitors from one of the friendly colonies passing threw. During their visit a small mechanoid arrived and attacked there group before my people could intercept it. One of them got away but one of the others was killed and the third was shoot in the spine. I rescued the third and nursed them back to health but they are now incapacitated and unable to do anything. I called there colony but there was no option to send someone to fetch them. So either there needs to be a way to fix a spine either bionic or transplant from someone else (prisoner harvested from) or have a way to let them know there person is still alive and to send someone to retrieve them.
