If your animals are old enough to have those conditions then yes they are to old to breed. I speak with experience and an earlier post about animal breeding.

I bought a male and female warg from a trader and restricted them to one room by themselves for a few months and theres still no sign that the female is pregnant, I've had pigs and even muffalo get pregnant faster than this when completely unrestricted so I'm not sure what the problem is.
The only thing I could think of is that one has a bad back and the other has 2 cataracts, does age play a role in whether or not an animal can breed?

Once had sappers attack my mountain base. The only one digging (their best shooter) ends up running into a randomly generated wall in the mountainside. He then proceeded to attack it with his weapon of choice, grenades. Assassin you say? not from what i saw.
