General Discussion / Why so expensive?

Rimworld is too expensive, I bought it cause I can and willing to but 30$ that is too much. I'm from Russia and the game costs 30$ that's 1950 RUB, and when I see a game like Cities Skyline cost 499 RUB that is 7,68$ I have to ask myself why is that? Clearly there is way more man hours in Cities. And on different forums I see a lot of people that just get a pirate copy, so isn't better to just adjust the price a bit so more people would be able to the a good game. And if Cities is a bad example for you, then look at games like Elite: Dangerous 2249 RUB, H1Z1 899 RUB, Rainbow Six Siege 1999 RUB. I love Rimworld but those games that I mentioned are in a different league (not saying that RW is bad, it's just other games are way way more detailed.) And I would love to know why is it so expensive? I don't thank that Rimworld will ever be a AAA game, but it is a good game right now. Just my thoughts.

Colonist should be able to patch themselves. If I have got stubbed or shot I would try something out not just bleed out. Off course you can't do operations. But the basics you should, and it should take twice as long to put bandages on yourself.

You just got yourself the main reason why not to do it. What else do you need. If this is a must have for you then just make yourself a stockpile closer to the construction site. Micromanage.

What about being able to make a glass roof. Research glass and of you go. Now you can build a greenhouse.

I would love it if you can make some sort of a transport in which you would be able to store your stuff and move to a new location. All your colonist and ther tamed animals.

Also more relationships between colonist. Maybe couples, friends, rivals, like if he is abrasive no one likes him optimist on the other hand.

Z-levels up not down so there won't be any bunkers. Cause it's painful so see your colonist walk so much so slow. In late game they go eat and to the workplace a couple of hours and it's sleep time. With z-levels to like 3 levels high you can actually make rooms on top cafateria one first floor.

At the butching table you should be able to butcher older animals (or make a slaughter option for older ones)

I remember it was possible to make something for other clans to be scared of you. Like torture chambers and spears with heads on them.

Pregnancy that is hard. I think RW at least needs to start with male and female pawns to share rooms. And get a mood bonus from that. If they get along, joy could be worked you some way in this idea. Just a thought.

For me a game changer would be not receiving any mood penalties for selling prisoners. It just makes no sense. Good way of making extra cash.
