I got a bug I think. When I craft meds the craft skill isn't growing. Is it planned?

yes you get medicine xp.

But the colonist that craft do the work not doctors, maybe then you should make it so that doctors will make those packs? Or am I missing something?

instead of a flat out x2 bonus, something like

(Base Value)*(Skill Bonus)+(Base Value)=(Trader Sell for value)

Were the skill bonus is a percent. So it would look something like this:

1000*.125+1000=$1125

In this example $1125 is the value of the item after the craft bonus is applied, this would scale evenly with item values.

Examples cont.:
100*.125+100=$112.5
10000*.125+10000=$11250

So then to find what the trader would buy from the colonists for would look something like this:

(Trader Sell for value)-(Trader Sell for value)*(Trader Profit Margin)=(Trader Buy Value)

Examples:

112.5-112.5*.4=67.5
1125-1125*.4=675
11250-11250*.4=6750

I agree with this solution. Aswell as with that melee weapons shouldn't be that expensive or if they are then range weapons (all but pila, bows) should cost more, based on there effeciency.

About art if you got a good artist then he should be able to make something form steel that will cost more than a bad one makes from gold. Also currently stockpile for silver is 500 maybe make it 2000 cause 40 000 is 80 tiles thats way too big.... or maybe 5000 per tile.

Also if the skills decrease agreesive than maybe some implants will help. Like have three kinds for every skill. They shouldn't let the skill drop less then 7, 14 and one that does not let it drop at all.

Maybe we should make some sort of a bank in the game. Were you can store your money and get interest, but also you will have to pay for keeping that money in the bank, so that you don't get overwhelmed buy the amount you got.

Maybe if you got a lot off money than space pirates will be more aggresive towards you and you will need to bribe them or they will beat it out of you. I think that bionic parts should cost more.

For me the problem is that you got all the resource you need and don't have a way to spend the silver you got. I like looting dead bodies for stuff, selling art, cloth, crafting from silver and gold, but were do I spend my profit?

I just let them bleed outside because selling them or getting there insides cause just to much problem with negative effects.

I have two exampels :) :) :)

- its late game almost finished my ship to fly away. AND fire starts battery explodes. so all my guys start to take the fire out. Stone walls 10 batteries are burning and people start dying I didn't get it why it was all fine they needed to just take the fire out. BUT then i see the temperature inside 400+ C. All of them died. And of a wonderful colony

- Came traders and a tribe visited me they start a shootout  :) traders won, but then came a pirate band  :) and traders won again not without the help of my colonist.

I like this moments because it never happend to me before. Cool :D

- tundra, growing june-july.
- fine meals i always hunt. and for a colony of five I have 5 fine meals and 10 simple.
- at first outside potatoes, cotton for parkas and pine trees. later in to the game i move inside. but leave cotton outside, in mid game use it to get profit.
- I use a coupel of mods advanced sunlapms and different hydroponics tables.

I really don't remeber whats the name of that mod. never used pumps and i guess never will.

The KSP forums are pretty good too (Kerbal space program being a game that involves being a bit more intelligent than most other games demand I suppose it only makes sense).

love that game and i agree some people just need games like "push button "A" to kill". I am also glad that there is a nice forum here :) been playing Rimworld from A4 and started using this forum only now.

While I think it will be nerfed in the next release if you're making sculptures for resale gold and silver is the way to go. The art's value is significantly higher than the metal put into it.

you need 2000 of silver or gold to make that sculpture. i think it's not worth it, i mean gold or silver. usually i make sculptures form stone, a lot of that resource, and if it is a good one just keep it it gives like 200+ beauty.

Can somebody explain to me how to use Celsius, or at least convert it to Fahrenheit.

First, find a brick wall.
Bash your head against it a few times. Repeat until you have eliminated all vestiges of that foul imperial system from your brain.
Attend an elementary school anywhere in the world except the USA, Liberia or Myanmar. (yes really, that is the company the foot and inch keeps)
Congratulations! You are now able to use a system of measurements based on absolute values based on physics that are all easily and beautifully interchangable.

1 liter of water is 0.1x0.1x0.1 meters and weighs 1000 gram. Any 8 year old child can do this, but half of American highschoolers probably can't do this in the imperial system without a calculator.

that is a good one :D :D :D

It's not like Europe created the system we currently use or anything, after all.

well you don't need to invent a bicycle, just take it and use it.

Or you can use Kelvin, where 0K is absolute zero (no subatomic particles can move) and 273K is boiling... other then that its identical to celcius; so doesnt really help i guess haha (you just convert by Kelvin - 273 = Celcius, or Celcius + 273 = Kelvin)

thats not right at all. -273 C is 0 K. 0 C is 273 K. and boiling point of water is 384 K.

What do you mean? i don't get it.........
