The reason we changed it I think is because Brits are EVIL ! And we wanted to differentiate ourselves from them. :)   OOH  you say you aren't evil?  Who but an evil person could come up with something as terrible as DR Who??  Alumineeyum !!! 

Just kidding , but not really as I am pretty sure that's why these spellings etc were changed. Because back after we won independence we wanted to be different because those guys kinda thought Brits were bad.  I like Brits ! well the women folk anyways haha:)

I like components , but what I did was improve the recipe to not be so dreadful , then I increased the number of, size of and amount mined from all minerals . its not quite balanced but it works for me

The problem is the way they work. You can't cure them. You can only keep your pawn alive long enough to develop an immunity.  I started a new map and made a mod that inceases the interval per biome that the storyteller uses to see if an infection happens. Or at least I think thats how it works.

Are there any mods that make curing diseases a little easier? I'm getting tired of good colonists dying because either they were the only good doctor or too much stuff happens at once and I can't even get them a BAD treatment.  Its really making me not want to play anymore.

Every world I've created has been at minimum half ice sheet and tundra . The rest is usually mostly temperate forest.  Are these Icy worlds the world generator working as intended? I've never had a world with only a small Ice sheet and tundra percentage.

A long time ago in Alpha 3 I made a mod where you could dismember humans into parts and make sculptures to try to ward off attackers .  Fun times haha
