arm the colonist with molitovs or grenades, then when the next raider/wild animal attack occurs send the colonist out to be the distractor/leading attacker with the thrown weapons and let the colonist get near the range limit for the weapons of the other colonists and go from there,this assumes it is not a noble pacifist, if it is a noble pacifist then do the same and do not attempt to rescue when disabled by the attacks, just recover the weapon after the death

go into the save game folder (in windows it is in the (windows vista & later) users/(your windows user name)/appdata/LocalLow/ludion studios/rimworld and either rename or delete the 'ModsConfig.xml' file or even EDIT the file in notepad/wordpad/notepad++ adding back the <li>Core</li> line,
for mac & linux( do not run them so can not advise), sorry you will have to find where the save cames are and see of the 'ModsConfig.xml' file is in there and alter or delete it

I have tried that in aplha 1 % 254, and in both older versions the raiders just attack  and destroy the cages then continue on to the base without the delay time

I also have tried 5 1000 point raider spawns against a defence base of my design with a large number of the energy turrets and it did need several of the lava pumps power supplies and two nuclear power plants, BUT the only ones that got away retreated when the leading bunch of the raider group died, and it even was shooting down two layer stone walls to get the raiders

the (currently) only way to enable mods that are below the menu list is to manually edit the 'ModsConfig.xml' in your save games folder.
hopefully tynan will fix this in the next alpha

in the base game, the hoppers can only store raw ingredients, ie meats, potato, berrys & agave

my first guess would be old drivers, but I also have seen similar colour changing when alt-tabing to another program in windows, so could be another program has focus of windows and is puting rimworld into the background

there is a select limit of 80 of ANY type of object eg food, metal, lights, graves, weapons, bodies, etc and yes it is irritating to work around by selecting some of them making the changes, then selecting the others and making the changes

if the dump is low priority then the graves will be used, but if the dump is at normal or above the graves will not be used for other than the excepted body types (this is from obsevation during play)
