Well well well... What have I found here? Perhaps one of the best game mods ever? Yeah that sounds about accurate. I might even have to support the patreon sometime too. I am going to make a new Rimworld game and totally go for a full Starwars theme! This is way too awesome. Thanks.

I'm sorry to have to ask this but how do I craft the handle of the light saber? I know how the crystal is made but I have basically all my vanilla reseach completed and I can't find out what workshop has it? Thanks.

I'm getting errors with this mod. Something to do with Woodlogs. I think the game changed woodlogs to just wood? So it's outdated now?

There is a misspell in RecipeDefs, specifically in fixedIngredientFilter that causes this issue.
woodlogs should be changed to woodlog and metals should be changed to steel, this fixed the errors for me.

Thanks man! Finally 25+ mods with no error messages at all popping up. Took some work but I tried fixing this myself and I did not know that was the correction that was needed. Perfect that was easy to fix.

Yes your right depending on which mod is loaded first it's going to use that mods version of Titanium. So your right there should be very low possibility for conflicts. I use panda's alloy's mod and they add like almost 15 new types of metals or alloys into the game. Panda's mod is good but it's also my first time using his mod too. But the good news to anyone reading neither of you made each others mod redundant. His mod offers a variety of materials with varying stats. And this Titanium of yours has the highest HP for blocks and other things even over panda's alloys. This is a fairly powerful material. However I don't consider it broken at least not completely. I have see mods with materials that have like 5,000 to 20,000+ HP and I feel they are often way to strong. So you have good balance in my opinion.

I do have a question though? When it comes to making weapons out of your Titanium how much input do you have to choose the outcome of how strong stuff will be? Or do you mainly just pick the base stats for "Titanium" and the game is going to use a calculation for various weapons etc?

I just put together my own personal mod pack for myself only of over 25+ mods. This mod look awesome and I can't wait to try it out. If I run into issues or have suggestions I will let you know? As far as you can tell does it have any known conflicts? Sometime in the next 24 hours I will be playing this mod. Thanks!

But Monkey.D.Luffy seems like a nice guy. So why can't pirates be friendly? I am sure in real life too most pirates were very welcome all they ever did was eat a lot of meat and everyone could greet there little talking rain-deer friend and end up saving everyone at the end of the day.  I'm no history buff but I'm pretty sure pirate often made everyone's life easier. Am I right?

Glad to hear sevenvt I like playing on larger size maps with a fair amount of colonists and stuff going on. And with mods. A little lag is fine for me but my current PC can't run this type of stuff without lots of issues with lag. lol  Thanks.

I bought a computer today. I get to pick it up once it's finished being built in 1-4 days time.

•  Cooler Master MasterCase PRO 5 with FreeForm Modular System
•  Intel Core I7 7700K Kaby Lake Quad Core 4.2Ghz
•  32 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200Mhz
•  ADATA Ultimate SU800 1TB SSD
•  2x WD Black 4TB Hard Disk Drive 7200RPM
•  Windows 10 operating system
•  GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8GB
•  LG 24x DVD RW optical drive
•  850W Corsair RMi Gold Certified PSU
•  Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo CPU cooler
•  Asus Prime Z270-A Mother Board

Note: I plan to upgrade video card in about a years time. Which is why I did not go with 1080 video card now because I plan to get even better card a year down the road and wanted to save $200 now.

Okay I admit the subject is a little misleading I already know this PC should run Rimworld well. But to be honest I have no idea to predict how well. I consider it a near top of the line PC. My current PC can be found here. http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/4004453 And my current PC does not run Rimworld to well. I think my CPU is the bottleneck.

I plan to do some benchmark for Rimworld on my new PC. Probably with the website http://www.userbenchmark.com/PCGame/FPS-Estimates-RimWorld/3808/0.0.0.0.0  And maybe even eventually post a video comparison of the performance of Rimworld showing the difference of my current PC VS my New PC. But I am going to need to accurately show the FPS. Does Rimworld have a built in way to view FPS or do I need a 3rd party program like Fraps etc?

P.S If I ever do make a video I may post the results here. I kind of want to setup various saves with different amounts of colonists on different size maps. And maybe even spawn a tribal raid which is probably the most demanding event in the game? See what kind of results I get for FPS etc.  And if my temps hold up I will do some low level overclocking on CPU and see if it makes any noticeable difference while playing.

Thanks DoctorVanGogh I appricate it. Waiting for New PC before I can help test or use the mods. But thanks. Are these A17B safe too?

Thanks for the advice. So I will end up buying a best quad core CPU I can then. So Intel 4.2Ghz will probably be what I get. I will probably add liquid cooling a lot on the CPU. So i can over clock a little nothing serious. Never knew that many games including Rimworld are pretty much single core and or single threaded.

Also pktongrimworld you have a 4.0 Ghz CPU and 80 colonists with 300+ animals on a large map is very much beyond anything I can do. I would get like 2 FPS in those conditions with my current PC. So I am going to probably love it when I get my new PC. Helpful advice everyone and good to know.

4K is overkill, by the way, you can buy a first class game machine for 2K easily, assuming you already have a good monitor.  And you won't benefit from more than 2 cores.

All of my rimworld performance problems went away when I got a new PC with a modern processor and an nvidia gtx 1080 GPU.  Before that, I had serious issues with multi-colony games.

No I can't get what I'm after for 2k. First of all I need to pay a shop to order  and or build it. So that's like $100 or so that most places make you pay. And for non gaming purposes I like to use three hard drives. I also get a frame capture card with HDMI input to record consoles and such. So 1x SSD, 2x 4TB Hard Drives plus good cooling, motherboard, PSU and case.... Yeah I had trouble getting the quote below $4,500 Canadian before taxes. Also I thought I should say it is Canadian Dollars so U.S currency also worth a little more. But I had it at over 5k cost then I had to remove stuff. So I can't really get it for under $4.2k after taxes but to be fair I'm building a fairly highend PC for gaming and media purposes.

First Alpha A11. Favorite to date A14. Currently Playing both A14 and A17. I bought from main site thus I have download copy of game. So I don't ever have to stop playing previous Alphas. I have a colony in A14 with like 20+ mods and I'm like 60+ game plays hours into the colony and some of the mods no longer exist so I still really enjoying A14 and will probably play it a little even after final release. I'm now putting together my own personal A17 mod list, still waiting for certain mods to be updated. A17 is pretty good.

I currently have a good PC but it's not quite Great so I'm wondering if anyone who considers themselves to have a great or highend PC can comment on game performance. The reason I am asking is that I am going to be spending just over $4,000 on a new gaming PC sometime next month. Currently I have 8GB, 3.4Ghz AMD Phenom ll and a ATI 370? I forget name of card but it's a $350+ Video card with 4GB memory so it's good. My current bottle neck is probably my CPU.

I typically run 30+ colonist games on the mid level landing site size maps with 20+ mods and I run into pretty bad performance issues. Anything more then 20 colonists and my game is slow. And if I play on larger size maps then it's slow at more then 5 colonists.

But I have seen Youtube videos of people on large landing site maps with 15+ colonists running almost flawlessly. So I need some suggestions of PC specs I need to get 20+ colonists on a large landing site with little to no performance issues. If you play in conditions like these please let me know how the game handles if your PC is higher end.

The new PC I am going to get will either have Intel 4 core at 4.2 Ghz or Intel six core at 3.6Ghz. And a $400+ Nvidia Card with 32GB 3200Mhz ram so it's going to blow my current PC out of the water. However I'm wondering how it's been for other people. Thanks.

I'm seeing this mod for the first time I skipped playing a couple Alphas. And I think this mod will be one of my go to mods from now on! As long as it does not conflict with other mods I like to use. I feel like the developers may implement some of the functionality of your mod into core game one day. That's how useful it is.  Thanks

So Vancidium is completely gone? I'm going to miss it. I loved making items out of Vancidium. Like walls and stuff it was an awesome color. hmmm..... Overall I like 2.0 but I will test this mod out in a couple weeks when I have time to play. i did love Vancidium.

Thanks Orion for the update.

I know we all have our favorite mods. I have about seven core mods I can't really live without. And this so happens to be one of them. In fact if I had to rank my most needed mods yours would be rank 3-4. That does not mean this mod is the 3rd or 4th best mod but in some ways I feel it is in my opinion.

First of all it's my opinion only but the only mods that I feel I need more then this mod is probably Prepare Carefully, Vegetable Garden and maybe Expanded Prosthetics and Organ Engineering 2.0. I legit won't even play A17 until this mod is out! I do like to use about 20 mods but only top seven or so are needed.

But by all means this does not mean you have to rush Orion. Since I can't really play A17 until this mod is done. That two weeks you speculate gives enough time for all the other mods I want updated to finish. And it gives Tynan time to make sure A17 does not have any really bad bugs that he needs to release a A17B or C etc... I would hate to start an epic colony only to have to restart because A17b is released with a critical bug fix. So two weeks is awesome sauce keep up the good work. Thanks.
