I'm not a moderator or anything like that. But I think they will like how you posted all that information hidden so good job. What I find often when I view the bug forum is they do often ask what version. Which you said A17. And also if your using mods.

If Rimworld ever goes on sale I hope it's long after the final release. But even if it never goes on sale there is nothing wrong with that. If the time comes were Rimworld is no longer bringing in any income worth while.(Years from now.) Then a sale allows more people to buy the game that may not buy it at full price. And those people who do buy it on sale will suddenly tell there friends and family about the game and then more people will buy it on sale or even at full price once the sale ends. 

So sales don't always mean that the product is not worth full price. If Tynan moves onto another game and Rimworld no longer has any updates or any real income at that time I don't see why a sale should not happen. However at the end of the day sale or not the game is obviously worth full price and it's almost always going to get new buyers for a long time to come.

I extracted the map generation code from the game, changed it so I could run it on all cores in parallel and let it generate a few maps and had the program check every square for the condition. It saved the extremes and I posted them here. I think I stopped at 1 million maps.

That seed was one of them but I only checked them at the highest map size. So the fact that it is a little colder on another is something somebody else found out but never posted here before you :).

WOW! That's amazing what you did!?  I honestly thought of doing the same thing. I mean I don't have the programming skills to do that. But I thought it would be great is I or someone could or would do it. But I never imagined that anyone would. That's pretty awesome. I also posted this to the stream forum with my Steam User Name BlueDragonXD. I hope that we find an even colder seed eventually. Thanks again.

Yeah it might be a pain. I'm very patiant though still playing A14 myself. I feel sorry for the modders who do all the work they do. But without them Rimworld would only be a good game. With them it's perfect! It's going to feel amazing when Rimworld is finished and there are no more major updates from the Devs and mods can be perfected. I can't wait. Not that I want devs to rush to completion Tynan will know when the game is done and I predict most of us will be completely satisfied.

Right now it feels like 80% of mod work is upkeep. 20% is renovation and new features etc.  One day it will be more like 95% features and 5% upkeep.  Since mods will only need to be updated to support eachother or the rare bug fix etc.

Interesting I noticed that when I have the mod Hospitality installed whenever I recruit visitors using the mod they appear this way. Every time... On A14!  I never played A15 yet.  Maybe when you recurite a traveler or visitor they end up like this by default.

Been loving this mod so far. I use Fluffys Tab Mod as do a lot of people and I keep getting this error. I imagine this is very low priority as both mods do seem to work fine together. I don't know much about modding but I am posting this here because if a small update to this mod can make it work even better with other mods like Fluffys Tab's then that would be useful.

Here is a much needed update to this page. I think these seeds work for at least A13 and A14. I am copying and pasting this from my steam forum post. 

"4fmy" is no longer the coldest see information below.

"4fmy". Make sure to select the world map size to be 350 x 262 or else it won't work.

Avg Temp (Winter) -97.6C
Avg Temp (Summer) -44.6C

OR

"4fmy" 350 x 262 map size, 98.93 E 79.39 N. is the location of the -71.1C avg place.

He got it from Britnoth and tonsrd. Not sure who originally found it, but credit where credit is due.

*Note: For those of you who do not know. A14 has a new feature were the game will check if enemy's or other NPCS and such can tolerate temperatures if they can't then they may not spawn or could spawn with parkas etc. I don't know how this will effect game play on this map? In A13 most raids and other NPCS who spawn freeze to death pretty quickly. This map may be harder or easier now in A14? Good luck.

P.S It is possible to play on this map at least in A13. It's not easy but I have done it many times. To be honest I used Dev Mode most of the time on this map though. hehe

See attached picture. With Volcanic Winter and Cold Snap you can at least reach -134 in Winter at night on this map. You can probably get colder as this is only the second night of winter.

I'm pretty sure this does not matter but I did notice in the game output logs that me and Oragepoilu (I think) posted we both have the same video card series? Perhaps even the same exact video card but I don't think it is related to the card right? If you think it could then I will post more details about my system but I did notice we both had the same series of card in the output log.
