I updated the 1.0 links here on the forums.

Thanks I'm going to be using these mods for the first time very soon. I appreciate all the hard work.

Hi, what am I suppose to do with Ultima pearls?

If I am not mistaken they go into light sabers! Same as the other crystals and stuff. In fact I may be wrong but I think the Ultima Pearl is pretty powerful as a lightsaber crystal.

Some errors... Could be related to other mods. These errors did not show up right away. I was using the sensors for long time without them.

Exception ticking rxProximitySensor942213 (at (13, 0, 128)): System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
  at RemoteTech.Building_ProximitySensor.Tick () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
  at Verse.TickList.Tick () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
Verse.Log:Error(String, Boolean)
Verse.TickList:Tick()
Verse.TickManager:DoSingleTick()
Verse.Game:<LoadGame>m__4()
Verse.LongEventHandler:ExecuteToExecuteWhenFinished()
Verse.LongEventHandler:UpdateCurrentAsynchronousEvent()
Verse.LongEventHandler:LongEventsUpdate(Boolean&)
Verse.Root:Update_Patch1(Object)
Verse.Root_Play:Update()

I kept getting this error every second or tick etc. Until I deconstructed one specific sensor. So it seems one of the four sensors was giving this error. Recently a visitor pawn from Hospitality was killed near the sensor however behind a wall so I don't think the sensor was or should have had anything to do with it.  I also tried changing all the settings on the motion sensor and reinstall it. Still got same issue. However building a new one works fine.

Thanks even if this is Remote Tech I can replace the odd sensor if it does not happen to often. And the rest of the stuff in the mod seem like I have not no errors from it at all. I'm just reporting this encase it helps.

Error Log

Couple other errors in the log that I think also have to do with the same problem. When I click on the problem sensor I got a few different errors.

New Update... A new record for hottest was found. As well as hotter variations for multiple Biomes. In fact various Biome updates are hotter than the previous record. I searched for hours today. I have been focusing on Hottest for a while. Now I think it's time to focus on coldest. Soon I hope to update the coldest possible seeds in the next week. This is getting harder and harder as soon I'm not sure it's even possible to exceed it!

This mod was in my first ever mod pack. For some reason I have not really used it since about A14. Either not updated in time or I missed it. Or it conflicted with another mod. I have no idea the reason. But that was than... this is now. I do like this mod. It's nostalgic to me! Because only my oldest colonies had this! Feels like it's been forever. Thanks for the update.

A lot of neat feedback, suggestions and new ideas to try. Thanks I have a feeling I will be playing Rimworld on and off for years to come. And that's even if the game gets no more official content updates. The slim chance it does I may be at this forever.

Is that not how the economy works? You expect a trader to take risk and travel around... on a Rimworld none the less and make equal value trades? Are you saying the prices are to different or should not be different at all? Or am I missing what your saying?

If I walk into a pawn's mart.... With a $30 game you can bet I'm not getting more than $5-$10 for it. And if I want to buy something I'm generally paying much more than the price that the story acquired it for?

Even dispirit saying this I still think I understand what you mean? In Rimworld if your the one taking the risk and run a caravan over to another location. Than technically you should be allowed to price gauge someone! However I don't even play with caravans do I don't know if that is a part of the game or not.

Well I have reached end game with my first 1.0 colony and mod pack I setup. I'm still going to play this colony a lot. Putting in over 100 more hours into this game. It's end game but the fun has just started!

I would describe my current RUN as heavily modded... One Base, no caravaning or traveling, nearly 30 colonists... playing the good guys for the most part... building one pretty epic base. On a 325 x 325 map that goes from 14C in the winter to about 60C in summer. It was fun. And is still ongoing. And by the way I do use the cool Starwars mod in this colony but not the fractions just the powers and light saber. So it does not feel like Starwars etc.

Here are future ideas? And please suggest others if you can think of any...

1. Build a base full on horrible people and do horrible stuff... cannibalism.... human leather sofas etc! Organ harvesting (Not original enough but still something I have not done yet.)

2. Do a Call of cathulu game. (I don't know much about that mod no spoilers but at some point I want to do a cultist game etc.)

1 + 2 combined... A cannibalism call of cathulu playing the bad guys etc! Doing horrible stuff...

3. Using animals for offensive/defense combat... Animal tribe etc... I will put in mods that add in more animals... Maybe the genetic mixing mod... And Animal Intelligence or whatever the mod is that lets me change animal behavior etc. And I can also use Scenario Editor... I will purposely make it more easy to have plenty of animals. So start with stronger tammers... start with decent animals... and tune the game so animals are stronger etc...

4. Coldest and Hottest known seed run... trying to survive on coldest and or hottest seed. Probably fully vanilla! But few quality of life mods are okay. Even if I do it fully modded it's still challenging and fun. I have done this before but not in a while and never fully vanilla. And the seeds have gotten more intense!

5. Passive Run? I wonder what would happen if I somehow forced all pawns to be unable to violence? Wait is that possible with Scenario Editor? Come back to this idea later.

6. Okay this is the one I'm thinking of the most...
Roaming Sith Lords that murder... Prepare Carefully and start with 5-10 Sith with Force Powers, Lightsabers and perhaps the other Starwards mods. All they do is travel and kill. They don't stay in one place for long. Meaning I need strong animals for hauling stuff all around. Starting pawns need to be really overpowered. High Taming, High Medical and High many other things set to HIGH! Also given hand picked perks. Because it will be almost none stop caravan. I wonder if there is a vehicles mod. Because I would love to travel around with like a landcraft full of evil murderous siths. And I use Dev console to add the Sith traits to anyone who I manage to recruit and keep spare light sabers and gear to give them. I think there is a setup camp mod but I don't know how it works. But yeah I want to see how possible a baseless or minimal base run is! lol

7. Zombies!!!! I already did a zombie run in A17. It's okay but I probably won't do it next.

8. Hardest possible Mod setup... Besides quality of life mods. All mods that change game aspects MUST make the game harder overall. So the mod Intense Raid... Perhaps the mod that adds the need for WATER... mods that add in stronger animals to face... perhaps more annoying story tellers... more events!... and many others... Also must be played on highest difficulty. I will hunt for mods that make the game harder. Now technically these mods could make some aspects easier but if it adds to the overall challenge than by all means I will probably use it.

9. Dwarf/Lord of the Rings mod set game. (It looks awesome!)

So if you have any new ideas or Feedback/Mods that could make any of these planned runs more fun. Let me know!
Also let me know if you have tried any of these.

You might want to check out Xwynns last two streams. He's by no means a new player going in blind but he's been playing medieval and low tech stuff for so long it was amusing to see him relearn how to play the game and remember that he actually had electricity to start!

I found out about Xwynns only when 1.0 launched. He was the first Lets Player I watched for version 1.0. I watched 100% of his recent videos. It is true he is relearning some things. And on top of that he is a pro Rimworld player. He handles situations very well. To me he has two really good skills. He is very good at combat. And very good at recovery from crisis situations. He does miss or forget about certain things and he plays risky! But he learns for every mistake he makes. He is also really good at mod packs and making his different series all very interesting. Like his Dwarfs runs... And other stuff in the week since I have been watching his content I have skipped around. Skimmed though some old stuff too.  He is a great Lets Player and also gives good commentary.

So thanks for recommending him even though I have seen Xwynns channel if I had not already your comment would have sent me there. lol
And to be honest my 100% most favorite Youtube/Switch Rimworld video is Xwynns Crashlanded Live & Merciless #2. I don't want to ruin it why. But for those of you who are new to this channel or his videos. Maybe watch part 1 first. However here is the link to part 2. But man best Rimworld video here... it's long though. Bu the chain of events and the story this video tells is awesome! lol

I just want em to do perma death lol. Save scumming sucks.

Most lets players won't do perma death to avoid possible glitches etc. Sometimes they lose a recording and choose to reply that part. However every lets player I have seen so far does not save scum. Possible some do. Personally if they are playing blind I would not mind a couple reloads if they are learning mechanics. But I mean it just a couple. But personally even if it is you first time the best lets play will be once you die you start new colony. Most entertaining.

Thanks for the link. Thats the total opposite of PeteComplete. He has no clue of anything and is slowly figuring it out thats really great entertainment.

Yes it's fun watching a pro. And I love watching pros or players that are great. Than there is a different type of enjoyment of watching someone discover something for the first time. Seeing there excitement... hearing there comments. See if they made the same mistakes you may have made. That's why Blind lets play are my favorite. But Rimworld is one of the only games were I also enjoy the non-blind. Because well 98% of all players are non-blind now. lol

By the way this part is a little off topic. But if you ever want to play a really great game. Neither are really like Rimworld. My two suggestions are Subnatica... most people heard of it. But the less common recommendation is Danganronpa... Start with Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havok. I suggest playing it first. But if not a lets play should still be fun. You need to 100% ingore all spoilers of the game though. That means don't wiki or google it, don't ask strangers about it. Only ask people you trust not to spoil. DON"T LOOK AT FAN ART! And whatever you do never read Youtube comments about Danganronpa. lol The less you know the better. And even small details can spoil.  It's on Steam. It's kind of like a visual novel game but not really. And watching blind lets plays of Danganronpa is top notch entertainment. The four games I recommend to everyone to look into... is Terraria, Rimworld, Danganronpa and Subnatica.

I really want to see a Blind Lets play. First adventure into Rimworld. I don't care if they played for like 1-2 hours before but mostly blind. 1.0 or B19 if possible. Maybe B18 is acceptable as well but no older than that. I can't really find any on youtube. Maybe twitch I'm going to keep searching. If you know of any Blind or Semi-Blind 1.0 or B19.... or maybe B18 let me know.

I found this one by Zozo Nights.

I'm going to see if I like it. Just found it. B19 I think. Medium difficulty which for a new player is plenty hard enough. So I'm happy with it so far. lol

Thanks for all the info. I can't believe I missed that!

About viperwask error
at the error log you find

can it be that a title from a Star_wars mod got added and cause the problem ?

Haha yes I do use the Starwars mod! You can see the full list of mods I use in my recent log. I don't know a whole lot about these errors messages. And some of them are probably caused by other mods.

However I got that same error in this log.
https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/11bad5c8bf25328e10c06975570ed3b3

That's the original with only Hugslib and Hospitality. And it also has the same error your describing I think. So yeah this is not easy to figure out. So regardless of if a mod is causing the same error it's doing without any error. And if Orian can't even reproduce it? Unless he is using Steam version and it's only effect Ludeon or something silly like that. Than I don't know what? I may re-download and test it again from a fresh download. But I won't do that for a couple days. I did not even just disable my mods I completely deleted them when I ran the test.

Could game settings cause the difference? I don't think game setting would matter but I'm trying to think of differences.
