There is a lot, A LOT, here. And honestly I read none of it. I am willing to bet very few people will read much of this too.

Your best bet is to break up your suggestions into smaller threads. Try to group similar ideas together. This is for several reasons.
1) It will make it easier to read.
2) Replies and discussions can be specific instead of all over the place.
3) You can get an immediate idea of what the thread is about from the title (assuming it's relevant to the contents)

As it is now replies will be chaotic and no meaningful discussions are likely to occur here.

Welcome to the forums. Hope you enjoy your stay!

General Discussion / Re: Dog malnutrition

I have noticed times where animals will (seem) ignore food if it's too far away and/or behind too many doors. I usually keep a pile or two of kibble beside their sleeping area or put their sleeping area outside the freezer/corpse pile.

No. Pirates will always be hostile.

Maybe you can change this with dev tools but honestly I have never tried.

I bought the complete Civ 5 set (with all expansions) for $13. RIP my free time.

Dude chill. I just wanted to point out that your gauge for community interest is flawed. 23 of 29 people aren't going to be in favor of this idea. (I may very well be wrong here, these are just my thoughts, based on nothing but my own opinion).

No need to take it so personally.

In fact I even voted in favor of this, as having a localized area where people can share seeds is a good idea.

I am willing to bet that the vast majority of people are indifferent one way or the other.

I have to agree with makkenhoff, a recycle option would make clothing too easy.

In A16 I played with a 'balanced' recycle mod where the return was directly related to clothing condition and it was oclverwhelming in long colonies. Especially after those 50+ tribal raids I would end up with way more then I could ever use. 3 full time pawns making clothing and 2 full time breaking down old clothes I could never use up all the textiles I had. It was too much.

(This is just my experience, take it as you will)

I would like to point out (as objectivly as I can) that the for/against poll really does not mean much in this context simply because of biases in this thread itself.

People who are interested in having a sticky are likely to be reading this thread as, of course, they are interested. Whereas people who are not interested will be likely to not read this thread at all or just skim through the posts and not vote or comment.

Without complete community involvement this poll will always be bias towards having a sticky.

*I would like to mention that I have no strong opinions one way or the other on this topic*

~EDIT~
Bozobub, I just want you to take care if you do plan to
Quote from: Bozobub on June 22, 2017, 11:02:30 PMargue that a good number of folks (23-6 in favor, at the moment) still would find such a thread useful.
as its not an accurate representation of the community.

Such a thread is a good idea in my opinion, as it starts discussions and it provides some people the chance to consider options they may never have thought of otherwise.

General Discussion / Re: Trader frequency

The higher the relationship with other factions the more frequent traders appear. Check the relationships tab. Are they all 30 or below? Thats most likely your problem.

Orbital trade ships arrive every 10-15ish days I think. Make sure you have a comms console and Orbital trade beacon that's both hooked up to power.

I download Emulators and play old SNES and GBA games. Turn based games are best as action games are hard without actual buttons to press.

Any of the Final Fantasies
Chrono Trigger
Earthbound
Advanced Wars
I even struggled through Mario RPG (It was tough as precise movements are hard without buttons)

Six thousands four hundreds six tens seven ones.

Wait, do they not already?
Does firefighting not come before bedrest? It's literally the highest priority work.

Great! Thank you for the quick reply.

As topic asks, I am soon ready to start a new colony. I know Tynan pushed through an update (I think on Steam) to help deal with the turrets causing lag issue. Was Sendowl also updated?
Thanks.

General Discussion / Re: Temperature
June 07, 2017, 01:32:00 PM
Try game seed 4fmy. In A16 it has a 5km mountain in the north. The peak has an average temperature of -72c.
