Why take away control when you can do this yourself already?

Can you not already temporarily settle a spot, cut down all trees, mine all the steel you see, whatever you want, packup and leave again?

I personally find the beauty tab useful to see exactly what is increasing or decreasing said beauty and how much. It's also useful to know how far away from a particular spot the beauty bonus applies.

Social fights have nothing to do with the mood system. It has to do with the compatibility rating and what each pawn thinks of the other (it can be between -100 and +100)

I think you are misunderstanding two mechanics at play here.

Is it not the force of the tusks that create the wound? If there was no wound would the force have been strong enough to kill? To me, in this situation, the two go hand-in-hand.

I have to agree with cawsp, scratch may not be a strong enough word.

Absolutely not! The first time a mortar exploded in my hospital was the last time I have ever built a hospital in the open.

Something about the room turning into it's own oven while already incapacitated Pawns and precious Doctors are inside is not a good scenario.

As Serenity said, only in Gravel do I grow Potatoes. Regular and Rich Soil gets Rice (or Corn if the growing season is long enough and I already have plenty of food)

Are your pawns not already disposable? Sure it sucks to loose one that you had trained for a long time. But that it what makes the game exciting and gives it a sense of danger. There will always be more pawns.

Plus wouldn't "Disposable Pawns" make the game too easy? I mean where would be the challenge? I used to have a habit of save scumming when I first started playing but the game quickly got boring and stale.

Perhaps if it were to be implemented I could simply *not* use them such as I don't currently use turrets, mortars, traps, or save scumming.

Sure it may be fun for some people to play out these events. Most may never even use the mechanic. But the public backlash would be IMMENSE, both from inside the community and much larger from out.

I can see no circumstances where rape would be beneficial to Tynan as a developer, or the community as a whole.

We're playing a Science Fiction GAME afterall. I see no place for rape in Rimworld.
