Spot - rest place for any size animal, does not give any bonuses to rest or infection resistance.
Box- suet only for small animals, provide some bonus to rest and resistance.
Bed- work for all size animals, provide best bonuses.

sorry I play this game for a year now in 13 when there were no tribes i did reasonably well, but with appearances of tribes i come to conclusion you can not survive as a tribe. If you have different opinion - it is your opinion, there is mine. I suggest you remove your offensive, false tone and learn to discuss thinks in civilize matter.

Please what tribe can build in one month to cool them self? Off couse they went to bed and offcouse non back up doctor was healing main doctor and then main doctor first heal back up doctor and went berserk from hoot, heat stroke and die to attacking torture. Back uop doctor vent drop from heat stroke, then cook went berserk and attack mastodon. then phy drone abated and heat wave finished. From my 6 colonist 3 dead 2 in bad can not move and Cassandra drop second raid that finish me. Nothing tribe can do against combination of heat wave, drone and raid.

You did not need to keep only trigger happy. you can accept every one and have mach bigger work force.

Personally I never survive first summer with tribe. I do not know how anyone else reporting, but last game I die to first  big raid, which coincided with heat wave and phy drone. Even no one of my colonists die in raid itself, they all one by one went besserker and die form heatstroke and wounds and I have no tools to handle any of this issues.

Personally i believe your strategy flawed. All point of having a few supper soldiers is to have all the rest of population happily work when not wary about there fighting abilities.

I trained goat up to realize, but I was not able to use that because i can not assign it  a master...

I used them in past as infinitive source of food. But that mean constantly killing them. You can do it with charge rifles. I prepared wide corridor, you can have 1 sniper to shot at remote one's to bring them into range of your 3-4 charge rifles and easy kill them before they rich you. You need to get to that level firepower, but after that i was selling there food and feeding all my animals with there meat.

I basically agree with original poster. One need to understand mechanics mach better to survive as a tribe even on low difficulty.

I have to point out that if liver is destroyed by shot try you are dead. I do not know medical procedure that restore the liver or even keep person alive why doing that. Liver perform extremely important function and we do not have back up liver.

Even any damage to liver because of amount of blood going try it and critical function it has will couse near instant death. Think about liver as a brain of chemistry of our body.

Just play as a tribe for example. I seems can not survive, it is mach harder on low tech level.

About know what is not build, If you mouse over room it will show roofed/unroofed and you can see how many ties do not have roof.
