in my current game, whenever I extinguish a fire, i have multiple lightning bolt icons flashing above the fire in different sizes.

build 0.0.250 running on 64 bit windows 7

No, I had been using the print screen button instead. I used F11 and it worked like a charm. I'm going to add a screen shot to all the bug reports that I can now :) ty for the help

I don't know if this is a bug or not, but whenever I try to take a screenshot on Rimworld so that I can post the picture, all I end up getting is a screenshot of my desktop.

Bugs / Can't build on a tile surrounded by structures

So far this has been reproducable in every single game. My file size is too large to be posted, but imagine this:

    XXX
    X0X
    XXX

If the 'X's are fully constructed sandbags and the '0' is empty space with no foliage or slag or anything, I have found that I can't build anything in that empty space. I can pay the cost and put down a blueprint, but construction will always stop around halfway and will never finish.

EDIT: I tried to take a screenshot, but anytime i take screen shots of Rimworld, it just takes a screen shot of my desktop instead...

I'm not entirely sure we're on the same page on this one.

When I have more than 1 drafted colonist selected, there is no way that I've found, including a popup menu with 'fire at ____' or 'Melee attack ____', for my group to all attack a single target without manually selecting and altering every ones firing orders individually

When I only have 1 drafted colonist though, I can right click and the menu will pop up and I can select what I want to do. But if I can any more than 1 drafted Colonist selected and I right click on an enemy, it just sets a move order and doesn't bring up the 'fire at/melee' menu.

If just seems like it should naturally bring up the popup menu regardless of how many drafted colonists I have selected.

I don't know if it's a bug or not, but when I select more than 1 drafted colonist at a time and right click on a raider/boomrat/squirrel/etc to tell my selected group to attack, all that happens is that my selected colonists think I'm giving them all a move order to that location instead. so i have to manually select each colonist and tell them which enemy to fire at.

Everything is fine if I only have one drafted colonist selected though. This is reproducable and has happened in every single one of my game.

nm... I feel like an idiot, but I managed to save over it even though I had it clearly named.... sorry for all the trouble. I'll be sure to make 3 copies and let you guys know if it happens again

KK, I found the save files once I enabled hidden files. I'll  keep an eye out for this happening in the future and make sure to make appropriate saves.

I had 3 growing areas setup but no food was able to be harvested yet. I had just traded all except 100 of my food for some weapons and It would have worked fine if not for the bug. I still had 60 food left in the stockpile, there were no prisoner beds in the same room as the food synth and the synth was accessible to the colonists.

There isn't even an 'appdata' folder in my 'users' folder

and the reason i was looking in windows.old is because when i wiped the drive, it stores everything in that folder for backup purposes until you decide to delete it. so i figured i would find it in there instead of in the new users folder that had been created.

unfortunately though, I even did a search for appdata and didn't find any results

I couldn't seem to find it in the windows.old folder that was left after i wiped the drive. I assumed it would be in there but I guess not. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for it happening again. anyone else is more than free to post their own findings of course.
