Quote from: MarvinKosh on August 03, 2016, 11:47:21 PMWhat do you mean with "dummy comp"? I noticed that when I moved one it wasn't there
For example, last I checked, turrets need a dummy comp to initialise properly.

Can we get a joy activity for colonists sitting on furniture in front of it, ala the TVs?

Quote from: Juan el Demgrafo on August 03, 2016, 06:19:47 PMI moved it over now. It's just that I'm not quite that good at laying out rooms in advance so that everything fits perfectly. So sometimes they end up a bit cramped.
I will say though that I think you should go ahead and put that extra space there anyway.

Simple question: can I place chairs directly against walls or do they need a space between?

And T is a table. Are the middle two chairs usable that way?

#8 is spot on. There is too much stuff crammed into that menu. Build and non-build orders should be separated. Things that you need all the time like hauling and mining need to be accessible more easily.

Given all the other stats displayed for some items, I have no idea why something this obvious isn't already in the game

Duh. So obvious now. I had the same issue where skeletons of dead raiders weren't moved to a "graveyard"

I agree in the order issues. Too much stuff is cramped into the architect menu. Especially common things like hauling or mining shouldn't be so deep down.
Also the priority thing. No way to tell people to work on one area. I've had games where caves were full of rubble for ages because nobody got around to it. And you can only rush one piece of rubble at a time. There is a mod that adds a priority function, but this should be in the base game.
More in-game explanation of the mechanics would be nice, but things aren't too hard to figure out by reading things online.

Fantastic. I missed that right away. So annoying to you are forced to deconstruct things. I can see things not fitting through doors. I've had that issue in real life with certain furniture (narrow stair wells are also an issue). But unless it's not too flimsy (or glued together) you can often disassemble things.
There are other things that I'd like to see moved though. Coolers are basically AC units and could be easily moved. Solar panels too maybe. And sandbags

Maybe they are Hesco barriers:

Contains a wire mash to hold the sand bags
