Do you want the save, or just a screenshot?

What kind of resolution are you looking for?

Of course you have permission if I'm using content from your game, and posting it publicly on your forum, in a thread that's asking for this content explicitly for that purpose.

Ideas / Re: All non-human meat to be just meat

+1.
-Human meat
-Insect meat
-Other meat

Human and insect meat carry moodlets with them.  Literally every other meat is functionally identical.
"This fine meal is made with boomrat meat and rice.  We can't let those stack with the deer meat and rice meals!"

If anyone can tell me how to manually change this name, I'd appreciate it.
Keep him around, I heard he has an aura which increases the speed of nearby colonists who are constructing walls.

construction speed increase by 150%

Mood penalties for anyone that hears him bark.

You got lucky .. it did not land in the middle of your farm ;D

I had to spend a fair bit of time hauling weapons and building a security bunker to fight the ship from.  In the time it took to do this, the poison had spread to my food and half of my devilstrand.

That run didn't last too much longer, either.  A group of tribals showed up shortly after, and my three pawns and two llamas were simply overrun.

Nonlethal weapons have been begged for since the early days.

Love the idea of a mass migration (or linked events in general).
30 Muffalo coming through heralding an extended toxic fallout, for example.

Thanks, Cassandra.  Doing your Randy Random impression, I see?

Fortunately, Stin was a crack shot with the grenades, killing the centipede before it could cause any damage, and the scyther didn't instantly mutilate anyone, either.

Place a growing area over any ambrosia that spawns and set sowing to off, your pawns will keep on harvesting it automatically.

This is neat.  Did not know this.

Just got some basic ones that oldbies take for granted.
-Make construction a restricted job.  Have only your best constructor set to the job and nobody else.  Improving this skill will increase the QoL of your colony.
-Better quality beds improve rest efficiency.  Stone beds are worse than wood beds.
-If you're cooking food and using a freezer anyways, rice is functionally better than potatoes and corn.
-Make prison cells large, clean, and pretty to improve recruitment chance.

Whats osha compilance?

Pawns always treat traps as armed.  Fewer accidental deaths via re-arming.

I'd love for 'Hand me that brick' to be in vanilla, and technically, it should fit within my moral compass (You can make critical-priority stockpiles right next to the building itself), but for some reason, it just doesn't rub me the right way.

There's one convenience one that isn't so much "necessary" as "should be in the base game, as the less hardcore among us will want this":
edb Prepare Carefully

The only must-haves are things you can do in the actual game.
OSHA compliance - Pawns will ALWAYS treat deadfall traps as armed.  No more accidental falling to your death.
Look, I'm the worker now! - Automatic overrides for work prioritization.

"Emu!"

"Yeah?"

"Patch up this prisoner, will you?"

"Can't."

". . . Why not?"

"Zoya's doing it."

". . . Oooookay. Zoya! Zoya! ZOYA!"

"CHEF, WHAT'S UP?"

"DON'T TEND THE PRISONER."

"WHAT? I CAN'T HEAR YA. I'M BY THE GENERATORS."

"DON'T. TEND. THE. PRISONER."

"OKAY, BOSS!"

"Alright. Emu!"

"Yeah?"

"*Now* you can patch up this prisoner."

"Nope."

"Why not now?"

"I'm not a doctor."

"Okay. Alright. Emu? You're a doctor now."

"Cool."

"Patch up this prisoner."

"You got it."

"Great. Fine. Black, you patch up the other prisoner."

"Ooh, I'd love to, but I can't."

"Why not?!"

"Zoya's doin' it."

Definitely imbalanced due to the raid-timing aspect alone.  If you get hit too hard, there's a chance you could have a second raid immediately after, while you're in no condition to deal with it.

Disagree.  I like being able to stand in a door to shoot at enemies, and immediately retreat, slamming the door behind me.

I agree some of the more annoying parts, like holding the door to the freezer open while you build flooring, or holding the door to a climate controlled area (hyponics room in a too hot/cold climate) is simply stupid, but I'm willing to trade that for the improved combat ability every day.

Ifrastructure.

Healthy and Happy Colonists fight way better than any turret ever could.

Used a mod to get permanent cold snap back, but it's still nowhere near as cold.  Wandering muffalo still making it way too easy.

Would it be possible to get ONE more tick on the temperature slider for us masochists?

Also just wait until winter comes, you'll notice how hard it is.

Not even.  the difficulty difference was enormous.  The difference in the amount of time that could be spent outside between A16 and A17 alone trivialized the first year of the game (And as such, the whole run)

Sadly, unless the temperature scale slider increases in A18, the Sea Ice Extreme I know and love is gone forever :(

General Discussion / Re: How to Refund?
September 17, 2017, 09:42:14 AM
If you bought the steam version within 2 weeks ago and have less than 2 hours playtime on the steam version, you can refund that, then get a steam key from the DRM Free version you already own.

If you're a day late or a minute over, Steam will basically ignore you, automatically closing all your tickets as "solved" without so much as an automated response.
