There is no negativity here. Please do keep supporting it :D
No negativity here now :P Of course people should report bugs, but I have never seen so much reporting for one mod. I'm sure that's due to the complexity of it (Tynan even asked how it works). IMHO we should show more appreciation for the mods we like as well as report problems.

Hey Zhentar, I want to complain too! I tried to set this thread to 'unnotify', but I keep getting notified anyway. I am always seeing people complain about this great mod and it is driving me insane. Better Pathfinding is fantastic, I'm sick of this negativity. I'm feeling very negative about it. Better Pathfinding is doing a lot of good and it's time somebody stood up and said something about it >:( I just wanted to bring some positivity to this thread.

I was not being sarcastic. I seriously meant that 1000101 is busy working on what is arguably the biggest project in RW modding. He is unable to spend time helping ppl try to get started, because, like many other long-time RW modders, he is busy contributing to the community in another way. And, by 'you salty veterans' I didn't mean 'you' specifically, skully. I've read tons of your posts and u seem 'sweet' rather than 'salty' :-* It was maybe a more offensive choice of word than I anticipated. I should have said 'grizzled' or 'battle-hardened'.

Yes. This assumes anyone is willing/able. 1000101 isn't. He's working (as if being paid) on CCL, so obviously doesn't have time & energy to devote to helping amateurs get started. Some people do, though, as hard as that may be to imagine for you salty veterans of modding.

Yes: you can suggest. No: I can't make a UI. I think you mean something like the GUI in Recolor Stockpile mod by theubie. I love that interface, but I don't know how to make them myself. It's too advanced for an amateur like me. Sorry, but thank you for asking.

They keep the stats they started with. All that changes is the color of the blocks or logs and the color of whatever you make with them. For example, things get a higher beauty rating if they are made out of marble and more HP if made with granite. I didn't change that. Color is only a visual difference, just like with people 8)
