Mods / [Mod Request] Funeral Mod
February 06, 2017, 01:04:36 PM
It would be nice to have a mod where besides burying a colonist you can have the option to bury him/her with a proper funeral. Like a marriage event where all participate.
It might take you more time to do the ceremony compared to regular burying and perhaps give you a small mood boost? I don't know this is just an idea.

Hello and thanks for making this mod! I'll help by posting a bug I've found.

I think I've found the bug that lags the game: Everything works fine until the animals run out of any kind of food in their assigned area. So when they don't have food (for example in the animal pen my pawns have built) the game starts lagging (even at the lowest game speed).

*This also happened twice in two different games (and one was in A15 the other on A16): when I got a hen and/or a rooster., even though they had food in the area the game lagged. I euthanized them to see if the lag would go and it did, so definitely is one of the causes in my case.

Besides this bug the mod is really good and also helps to keep my beers in the fridge :)

Hi! great job on the mod! I'm trying it already and I love it
Can you make it part of the menus bar instead of a floating window?

I love this mod, I think of it as an improvement to the base game, so to give some feedback I've found a bug where tamed animals will no longer feed on wild grass and so they will starve (as Wishmaster stated in a previous post).

Perhaps this is fixable?

Thank you for working on this, to you and to all this beautiful community.

I liked your review. You should try the frozen tundra, with some mountains perhaps. Bring something warm 'cause it's gonna be cold!

An option to re-pick the mods that go with the save you are trying to load. Or mod presets.

Great job on the mod! I was really wanting this for vanilla.
Do you think the cigarettes/cigars would be more consistent if they make you less hungry and less stressed instead of faster movement? I'm not a modder yet though, so I don't know if it would be balanced or not.
Anyway I'm enjoying your mod very much :) Cheers!

Hi! First of all great mod! Thank you for working on it, it is very fun to play.
I have a question: can you make it so there can be no electrical items, firearms, modern medicine? so it can be played medieval all the way and all the time.
Thank you again for working on the mod!

This mod is amazing. It is complex enough to be hard to achieve and manage, but not so complex that it would stop being fun.  :D
And it surely does pay all the effort it takes to build it. It also felt great for late game content.
Now I can kiss my batteries goodbye and all my wind turbines and solar generators always requiring maintenance and cables exploding that gave me headaches.
My congratulations to you.
Very professional!

Ideas / Journal (Generated & Manually written)
September 14, 2016, 09:50:03 PM
Hi! Although There has been a few threads about this in the last two years, I just want to explain my version of the idea in a 2016 post.

I think it would be a nice addition to the game to have a Journal. Let's say in the History Tab. It could be generated as the events in the game happen (not only events but relationships, mental breaks, etcetera) and give you the option to export it in case you want to keep all your stories in a folder in your computer.

Plus it would be nice to have a personal journal where you write anything you want. I've seen this in another game (TLD - survival fps), and I really enjoyed writing down my thoughts on the experience my character was having each day. Just for the sake of roleplay and immersion.

Anyway it's just a thought.

There is a mod around called Caveworld Flora by Rikiki, it has been one of the few mods I've been using and it feels very natural to the game. Many games have mushrooms inside the caves so perhaps this content could get to RimWorld. The glowing of the mushrooms is a really nice touch too.
