i have been reading around on the forums and some people where talking about challenges.. so here is my challenge to you all!!!

Town Challenge:

RULES:

1. you are NOT allowed to build into a mountain

2. you are allowed 1 solar panel per building

3. you are allowed to use as many geysers as you can

4. building a wall around the town is ALLOWED

5. NO waffles

6. limit of 6 turrets

7. you can use either happiness or fear to keep your town happy

8. must be a new save

9. you can use any story AI except friendly

GOALS:

1. create a town with at least 10 buildings

2. create a barracks

3. create a cafe

4. create a graveyard with walkways outside of the town

5. create a "castle" for a noble to live in

6. get  a noble to live in the castle

5. (optional) create a walled in town with a double gate with walls at least 3 deep

HARDCORE MODE

1. create the town where you first land and make at least 1 of your starting people a noble and keep him alive till all goals are met

its more based on your length of play and how many colonists you have. but the number of turrets is accounted aswell

EDIT: The gamemode you're talking about is Chill Cassie Classic. She's not that easy though, you should use blasting charges for at least one raid to get good weapons even if you want to play fair.

i go even smaller

1x4 with a bed/lamp/door with metal floors..(carpets once researched) and i have no issues

if you manage to starve them out they will leave the raiders and just wander.. so try to capture them in a trap and wait them out
