This is a hunting decree from 2 days ago that was completed, but the link to the quest tab is still there.
Making a Harp requires 3 or more crafting, but using the art bench requires the pawn be assigned to art.
Only mods installed are Vanilla animals expanded.

Would love to see the medic addons updated to work with vanilla furniture extended beds

It's VAO. Specifically, this:
<Operation Class="PatchOperationAdd"> <!-- Adding Fieldwork tag to Train -->
<xpath>/WorkGivers/WorkGiverDef[defName = "Train"]</xpath>

It creates mutual lock: animal is busy guarding its trainer, so trainer can't train because animal is busy.

Workaround: set animal master to someone else or none.
That's a very interesting situation, thank you for the explanation and temporary solution, could you think of a way that would prevent this from happening? (I know nothing about modding, just curious)

I had several reports like that one, and all of them were with Pawns Play Together.
Ok but I tried with no other mods installed, only VAO so there is nothing messing with it, and i still cant train past level 1.

Esit :I disabled the VAO "Train" patch and it seems to have fixed it without causing any other problems.
Something with this mod seems to be messing with my pawns ability to train animals  past level 1.
When i manually select someone to train, they just walk to where the animal was when i brought up the float menu, and then go on to something else.
Edit: Btw i am also using this mod that might be conflicting, Animal Logic by Oblitus Edit 2: disabling this didnt help

omg I've always wanted to designate my pets to specific beds, no more muffalo sleeping in peoples bedrooms, only dogs
Is there a reason that vents and coolers cant be placed directly on smoothed stone walls?
I recently had a room catch on fire from a zzzt, so to help my colonist not dies of heatstroke, I made the door to the outside be held open, inside the room was still 600 degrees, until 1 wall burnt down, then it instantly equalized to outdoor temperature, I feel like a 1 block open space, should have some sort of flow rate, and an open door should have a higher flow rate when the temperature is so drastically different.
Any chances this will be updated for A17?
Kind of amazing that pretty much all your mods have become apart of the actual game. If only they made space weed a reality.
