in b18 your colonist mentally break quickly and seemingly randomly and when they break its almost always the worst kind of break especially the new ones. out of all the breaks to occur 5/10 breaks are going to be the new ones and only 1/10 of them are the minor breaks. when starting a new colony half of your colony is going to die off before the first raid and by then your not going to have enough medical supplies to prevent death by infection because Suzy had freaked out and shot johnny in the balls because she had a couple of rocks still in her room or because jack had to sleep outside for the night because we only have 6 houses put up yet and he decides he wants to kill all the pet wolves and unfortunately because its a slaughtering spree the dogs can't fight back and protect themselves.

I think the game could benefit alot if this gets complimented because if you chose to land on a island it would be a double edge sword you wouldn't be raided as much but you wouldn't be getting as many trade caravans either do to both needing to build boats or if your raiding i guess you could try to randomly pod jump to it but it be very hard without the place scouted do to lack of cordnits.

well I have been making some art and I came up with this plan/idea seen as normally the player has zero true effect on the world his colony is put in what if you could travel to your allies base and trade with them that way or assault the people who hate you just because you exist or even scavenge remits of dead colonies go on quests for your allies for rewards
p.s one of the maps isn't done yet I was planning on turning that one into a mine or a hive
