Hmm, a lot of errors at startup. Try these steps and see if the error resolves itself:

0. VERY IMPORTANT Put HugsLib right up to the top of the list, just under Core.

1. Put Lockable Doors AFTER HugsLib.

2. Core Driller - Glitter Tech Addon should also be after the Core Driller mod. It isn't a fully independent mod in itself.

3. Check any mods that add animals. It appears that some animal mods have config errors.

I only see the More Furniture mod affecting buildings, though I don't think it's the problem as it does not contain any C# assemblies.

Do these steps and report back :)

Also RawCode you made my like a whole lot easier.

It's something from Zorba's Look At Me, I'm The Worker Now mod. Consult Zorba, and be sure to submit your output.log(RimWorldWin_Data\output.log) either through the "share logs" button from HugsLib(Enable dev mode in options), or manually.

Also be sure to list the mod order.

To be honest, without you doing it I would have had no idea how to make this mod. Isn't it just obvious when you see someone else do it?  :D

The XML Autodoc doesn't have documentation for CompProperties, only that they use it. Shouldn't we add compProperties documentation as well? Or has this already been done?

SS Lightning Rod - V.1.1.0
(Zeon not included.)
The Spdskatr Department for Countering Zeon is back with another of their latest gadgets. This lightning rod will teach any Zeus impersonator that science will always conquer all, including their so-called "godly" lightning powers.



Adds a lightning rod that can attract lightning strikes to its pole using an ion beam emitter, and harvests part of its power. Unlock it with Machining research. It is located in the "Misc" tab.

Of course, every design has its imitations. The lightning rod can only recover so fast, and too much lightning hitting the one rod will overwhelm it.

MODES
The lightning rod has 3 modes:

  • Power Saving Mode: Will not consume power, but only has a 1 in 4 chance of attracting a lightning bolt and cools down 50% slower.
  • Normal Mode: Normal(750W) power consumption and cooldown, attracts lightning bolts 100% of the time. Still has a 25% chance to attract a bolt when overwhelmed
  • Fast Cooldown Mode: Cools down 4x as fast as normal but consumes 3x as much power. Still has a 25% chance to attract a bolt when overwhelmed

Base power generation (per lightning strike):

Mod conflicts: Mod now uses Harmony prefix patching for detours at WeatherEvent_LightningStrike.FireEvent(). There should be less mod conflicts, unless another mod still uses old-style "Hooks" detours.

Licensing can be found with the Github link. Rule of thumb is don't do anything stupid.

I don't see any errors relating to my mod. Also, I don't see that you loaded SS Bigger Batteries along with my fuse mod. Perhaps that will solve the problem?

I rather would like to see an extra research to increase the eff. of the batteries. In some old alpha there was this possible for existing batteries.




I created this mod mainly to supplement mods that include giant power plants, like sd Advanced Powergeneration, Rimushima etc. For players sticking closer to the Vanilla/Core side of things, you probably only need the 4k and 16k batteries.

Calculation readjustments:

Poplar trees rest for 10 hours per day regardless of anything, so really the optimum growing period should be 15*24/14 = around 25.71 days.

So in theory this should work, but only with max efficiency and hoping that nothing goes wrong.
