I have seen unfertilized turkey eggs before. It seems that sometimes turkeys lay dud eggs that don't hatch at all even if the animal was fertilized. Don't take my word though, that was way back in Alpha 14.

I might be able to help you with that. I can make a page called Mod:Apparello and I'll let you do the rest. Unless that's not what you want. Also for the email, check your spam folder. It happened when I signed up for Twitch
By the way, answer something if you actually want me to do it. I'd be happy to. Also I can do basic wiki code.

Tynan has some weird ideas for animal feed, by the looks of that.

Has anyone been talking about the mods page? I put a rewrite template on it. It seems that that page is being neglected.

That means your colonists can pick them off when they're struggling to climb over boulders.Quote from: Spdskatr on December 08, 2016, 09:02:30 PMBoard your entrance up with rocks. Lots of rocks.
To clarify, are you talking about how rocks can slow down raiders, because they have to crawl over them to get to your colony?
Quote from: Spdskatr on December 08, 2016, 09:02:30 PMBuy eggs. Just remember not to put them next to artillery shells
Dare I ask what happens if this advice is ignored?
2. You will never be able to access those artillery shells for the next 2 months, because it it going to be continuously trampled by those devilspawn chickens. Sell them when you get the chance!

Quote from: Cimanyd on December 09, 2016, 01:34:22 AMJust build sarcophagi. Somewhere fireproof so you can burn them later. The mood debuff doesn't really matter when you are burying people in the bulk. Also, if you really can't cope, buy a psychic soothe pulser. It only costs 1000 and when you are selling lots of organs and prisoners(after you harvest them), it's nothing. It's even more of an exploit with the epoe mod but I won't go on with that.Quote from: Spdskatr on December 08, 2016, 09:02:30 PM
Don't sell prisoners. Better to harvest their organs.
Better in what way? It's great for training doctors, and I recommend doing that, but I don't think a little bit of extra silver would be worth the much bigger mood loss of harvesting organs from a prisoner (x2), killing a prisoner by organ harvesting, and an innocent prisoner dying, versus just selling a prisoner.
Of course, if you want to train your social skill, then leave them there(remove their arms so they don't fight back).

Sugar into water? Hang on our bodies do this every day using respiration! Is that what you meant?
Eg. C6H12O6 + 6O2 => 6H2O + 6CO2 + energy
We Are All Jesus Confirmed
Also, we don't need to plant complicated plant life like sugarcane to create oxygen. That's too slow.
Cyanobacteria are much more suitable for oxygen production. How do I know? They were the bacteria who terraformed Earth! But growing food is a whole new topic.
Also the atmosphere isn't made of 100% oxygen. We can harvest the biological waste and food scraps from our colonies, then put it into compost (yes) and then through a series of biological processes à la nitrogen cycle, we get nitrogen gas! Technically, an atmosphere only needs to have a little nitrogen to support the nitrogen cycle, so the remaining gases can be anything, as long as they are relatively unreactive and aren't radioactive(radon), for example helium, used in scuba tanks.
About the tokamak reactor, we can fuel it with the trace elements from the surface of Mars! Deadly solar radiation has probably created rich deposits of tritium or helium-3 on the surface of Mars because it has no magnetic field. The other ingredient, deuterium, is everywhere anyway.
Don't take my word, this is very oversimplified.
P.S. Forget Bosch reaction and electrolysis.

What's the "entering transport pods" thing then?

I think transport pods are for landing your caravans onto an island.

Credit goes out to Gray Still Plays and his playlist.
Here are some tips he mentioned:
Don't sell lavish meals. Sell simple meals.
Downed centipedes and scythers make great shooting training.
Don't stab an animal to death. Get your doctor and rescue the animal, then euthanize it.
Board your entrance up with rocks. Lots of rocks.
You can invert your allowed and animal areas.
Some of my tips:
Buy eggs. Just remember not to put them next to artillery shells:P

December 08, 2016, 08:27:39 PMQuote from: buttflexspireling on December 08, 2016, 12:42:30 PMThat's a generalisation. I don't think that way. How are we gonna power the nuclear power plants on Mars? Although partnering with China would solve a lot of $$$ issues.Quote from: Spdskatr on December 08, 2016, 01:38:13 AM
I see someone not adept in the Bible.
Let Prof. Wikipedia explain.
Many folks seem to think the only way to terraform
Mars is to establish nuclear power plants and eventual
construction of hydrogen power plants there by partnering
with the Chinese. However, I think the Bible is all the
proof you need that such ends are unsuitable for the security
needs of this nation.
I think let's take it easy. Build our first colonies, generate nitrogen from poop, and start a Bosch generator. That then produces water for electrolysis to convert into oxygen. See? No extensive financial support required. Although you need a place to store all the excess pencils.
To clarify, are you talking about how rocks can slow down raiders, because they have to crawl over them to get to your colony?
