I know I'm annoying but I have a suggestion for your mod manager.

Maybe have it highlight active mods in yellow if they depend on a mod that is not currently in the active list.
Probably a lot of work but would help people track down mods that will cause errors if loaded

Try the caveworld mods for that.  Otherwise just look for one that's got caves as a special feature.
They are too darn common if you ask me.

Check The steam thread has a pic of what happens to a human that gets the targeting hacked applied

Also I wanna mention that if you get the federation to work that should by extention get the ferals to work as well

I enjoy games where theres no map resources or shrines.
Also changeing those settings will change how new maps are formed
