There ought to be an option to amputate infected body parts if the patient isn't going to survive otherwise.

Do PSM's have any distinct advantage over pemmican? They seem to cost a lot more research.

I'm not sure how a slavery mechanic would work, but I love the idea of prisoner labor. 99% difficulty to recruit? No problem! You can just roll cigars in that dark cell forever.

A17 feels like it has a bit of horror movie vibe going. I can imagine the colonists looking at their mangled comrades and being like, 'we've gotta get off this deathtrap!'

I really like the improvement to mortar accuracy. Their effectiveness makes the resource trade-off worthwhile against dense raid groups, but not overwhelming. It seems like they can bring a strong late-game defensive advantage to plains situated colonies.

The way that immunity has been tuned in this build, it seems like a death-sentence when a colonist loses a kidney.
That's pretty much always been the case.
Maybe it's just apparent now because colonists are getting dismembered more often. Anecdotally, two out of my latest colony's six fatalities have been from kidney loss + flu, and kidney loss + infection.

I love the bug concept and hope that they'll be expanded on in the future, but the bug spawn mechanic always struck me as rather ham-fisted. Most threats in Rimworld can be managed or mitigated with good foresight and preparation. By contrast, there's not a whole lot that can be done to prepare for a swarm of bugs suddenly materializing in your favorite pawn's bedroom.

It feels like there ought to be a more subtle way for the bugs to make an entrance. Maybe a cave-in event that spawns a bunch of bug chrysalis' having a couple hours gestation time?

Enclosing your colony inside a curtain wall helps protect your pawns and livestock from predators. It also helps control the avenues of access for raids, takes the bite out of manhunter packs, and keeps forest fires away once you upgrade to stone.

Circumstances
Pawns are idle instead of engaging in typical behaviors. Current activity text reads "Standing".

What happened
A large fire occurred and changed a lot of the map. Pawns subsequently began having problems acquiring new tasks.

What you expected to happen
Pawns should continue to acquire tasks.

Steps we can follow to make the bug appear on our machine
The root cause is unclear because so much of the map changed in a short time. (was a bad fire) Save file is attached. Load save and observe pawns "Element" and "Squirrel".
