That's what I'm intending on doing, I'd like to keep my mod separate from the others instead of being thrown into a mixed-pack of 30+ other guns. I want to keep it separately available for people who're just as snobby as I am about vanilla textures.

That, and I also don't want to keep it bloated with millions of other guns like AKs and the dozens of other modernized weapons that people have already suggested to me :P

Already on it, have a few ideas for some more 'charge-like' weapons.

One particular one that I'm working on, basically a high-power close to mid range two-round burst rifle.

Guns+ is a small gun modification that adds several vanilla-friendly guns to RimWorld's armaments!


1920 Thompson

A short to mid range submachine gun that fires just a few more bullets than an LMG but is much weaker in comparison.


Carbine

A mid to long range rifle that allows the handler to fire in a rather quick succession but lacks the firepower of a long-ranged sniper.


M78 Grenade Launcher

A short to mid range grenade launcher capable of firing grenades faster and further than you can throw them, however the pipe bombs remain a tad weaker than their thrown counterparts.


.357 Revolver

Stronger than a pistol with some range to boot, this variant sure isn't lacking in the firepower department, however the only thing keeping it down is its firerate.


C-31 Blaster
Accompanied by decent damage and some fairly nice range, this gun makes it a favorite for those mid to long-range fights, only drawback is that it fires a tad slower than most charged rifles.


R-70 Mini
A close to mid-range charged SMG that fires a burst of 6 shots per round though the handling is rather difficult.


B-17 Charge Scope
A high-power long ranged charge sniper rifle capable of dispatching enemies from an incredible distance with the fire-rate being its only drawback.

Uploading a new version (1.3d), readded the rocket launcher with some added custom sounds, fixed the Liandri trader up a bit (no longer overstocked with weapons, added slaves as previously intended.)

Nope, just activate the mod and you're good to go, trade ships should appear and raiders should also be carrying some of the weapons :>

I've successfully managed to convert all the Liandri Corp. weapons Alpha 8!

Some notes,
- Liandri trade ships are back ingame!
- Removed the turrets (Had many problems with the base components)
- Removed stun gun (Doesn't work as intended anymore, turning it into a melee weapon would make it a rather useless piece of equipment.)
- Smoothed the edges on all of the guns.

Version number ingame should be Alpha 8, name of the zip itself should be v1.2b Alpha 8 (The b signifying the conversion)

Uploaded a new version, fixed the alpha-bleeding with the graphics and added a custom incendiary turret sound aswell as a changed the energy turret bullet graphic and firing sound.

Link above should be updated.

Mods / Re: Wall Lights?

Several mods add wall lights, Clutter mod adds floor lights that can be built alongside of walls, Glittertech has special titanium walls with lights embedded in them, and I'm sure theres more that do just the same.

For anyone interested I've done a rather sloppy conversion of this mod from a7 to a8.

I also changed some stuff to suit my personal taste (Removed TOW launcher, reduced sizes of turrets, changed some sounds and made my own vanilla-friendly art based on the original designs.)

Some problems that remain with this conversion,
- Alpha bleeding on the turret tops
- Custom turret bases don't appear properly ingame, so they're using the vanilla base.

Keep in mind this is my own personal conversion and I in no way wish to take credit for any of the original work done on the mod, this is only to tide players away until the official conversion comes around.
