Could it be that you are using the rimsenal mod? if so, he updated his mod and removed some items from the base mod to the "enhanced vanilla pack". I had the same problem today, and after installing, it worked again. I have a saved game which I was playing for a while. Today I got the "Error while loading map" message. I didn't add new mods or any modifications since the last time I played it 5 days ago.
