Hi, I'll keep this brief.

There is an app on the Google Play store claiming to be rimworld. It's obviously not, however this app steals users information when installed on the device. This app is slandering Rimworld (even though it's not actually) but I highly recommend Tynan or someone takes action on this. This is the APP I urge people to not install this app, and I also urge that everyone flags it for Copyright/Impersonation. To do this on the Play store, simply scroll down past the recommended apps and then click Flag as inappropriate.

Regards,

Hello everyone!  8)

I got a little bored today, So I made a Mod Database spreadsheet.

Using these things, there is now a Database for mods which is capable to be community driven.
They are quite self-explanatory. This may not contain many mods at the start, However if we can push this out to other major mods developers then we can have one centralised mod list, for easy access to all!

[PLEASE NOTE THAT CATEGORIES ARE UNDER CONSTRUCTION. IF ADDING A MOD PLEASE SELECT OTHER AND TYPE 'Under Construction' WITHOUT THE ' '. THANK YOU.]

I will monitor progress for a while. If it all goes good then thats great for us all.  ;D

Hello all,

I recently purchased the game on steam, as I only saw RimWorld for sale there, Shortly afterwards I had found out that it is possible to of have a DRM free version from the RimWorld website itself, And anyone who bought it there is allowed to have the exact same game license put onto steam (Not two copies of the game, Still only one copy, Only you have the option of using it DRM free via the download they provide, or the steam version downloadable via steam).

After realising this I emailed a help link to Ludeon Studios to which I was denied being allowed access to the DRM free version of my games license.

Why is it that If you buy it from the website you can have the license on and off of steam, and yet if you buy the game from steam, you are ONLY allowed the steam version?

What do you guys think about this?

I could easily ask steam for a refund from RimWorld (not enough online in-game time) and then simply use those funds on the RimWorld website and get the game there, then activate it again on steam. But then I lose out on transaction fee's and the conversion from AUD to USD as well as the time It would take to do all of that(Damn PayPal).

What do you guys think about this, How would you have felt if you bought it from steam and found this out afterwards? What do you all think I should do? (I mainly play on PC's without Steam).

Help / Help with a XML Question?
March 28, 2017, 07:54:52 AM
Hi I have a question about how to mod rimworld, I'm not too certain on if I'm going to be explaining this in the correct way however I'll try and make it as understandable as I can.

I would like to add an XML tag to an existing Def in the game's core mod.
I would like to NOT edit any of the core files, I want it to be in my own XML File, thus allowing compatibility to other mods which edit similar parts of the games files. (this edits what A pawn does when he decides to eat food, I wouldn't like to tell people before I successfully complete this mod. :) )
I read up bits about this on the wiki, and did my own testing however I've been unsuccessful. Any Help..?
