The two pawns got to the end of this corridor and started dancing around each other while being preparing to hunt a pair of (mad) turtles nearby.

This save state is moded but is only running Cameras+, so I honestly don't think mods are doing this.  I saw no errors in the error log during this.

In the first series of pictures with the beds, when UI is at 1.25x zoom, "Unownwed" on the beds changes to a weird line return.

In the second series of pictures, the Quick Sleeper trait gets cut down to only say "Quick" when at 1.25x zoom on the UI.

Support / Re: Pink Screen on Startup
September 02, 2018, 03:28:24 PM
The only time I have seen a pink screen on RimWorld startup is when I was experimenting with command line arguments that force different renderer engines (like DirectX 11/12 or OpenGL vs the default option) in Windows.  Do you have any command line arguments set in your RimWorld startup?  You could also try updating your video drivers and/or using Steam to verify the integrity of game files.

May also be possible that a mod order is the cause.  Did you have any mods enabled?

I don't know, I think this could be considered a bug.  When visiting pawns get killed by infestations, that doesn't count against your relations.

Conversely, the argument could be made that that situation is a bug though.

Bugs / Re: Unknown error

You'll want to move this error report to the Mod's Bugs subforum, as this forum is for vanilla.

Now that Beta 19 has moved to the normal branch, the 64-bit RW client isn't accessible from Steam again. :/  I can access it from Steam if I switch back to the unstable build, but in the normal branch, none of the 64-bit options are appearing.

This bug has been common for as long as I have been playing RimWorld... and that has been since A15.  I haven't actually seen it for a while but I am not surprised.  I would also post a picture of the pawn in question.

Yeah, the mod author was pretty busy when I brought it to their attention that 1.0-pre was out.  When Moody stopped working during 1.0, major changed had been made to the GUI (Joy was changed to Recreation, Character was changed to Bio... other things).

Now that 1.0 is being pushed back and Beta 19 is out, hopefully, we'll see a release soon.  I'm going to post on the Steam thread to bring this to their attention.  I was planning on bringing it up to them sooner, but I got sidetracked with work/IRL.

Bugs / [1.0.1972] Crash while group hunting rhinos
July 22, 2018, 11:38:54 PM
Crash report attached.  I typically hunt larger prey such as rhinos and elephants with a large group of pawns, and the game crashed while I was doing so.  This is my first time having the game crash unmoded.  I was also running the 64-bit client on Windows 10 1803 (freshly upgraded today).

To be honest this is one of the least annoying events to me, I'm not sure why this particular event would drive people to mod it out. I build as much as my wires as possible in walls, and use stone walls basically all much as possible too, this event really hasn't ever "got to me".

Having played since A15, I believe the reason people have moded it out is frequency and the bad randomness rolls of older versions of RW.  The frequency of this event has been adjusted drastically, and it occurs much more randomly and far less often then it used to.  I believe the randomness (even in non-Randy runs) is much more... genital, believable than before.  In older builds (especially A15 and A16) the following would almost always happen in closeness to one another: Heat Wave, ZZzz, Eclipse.  Like clockwork, those three would happen all of the time around each other, screwing the player.  I even have a video of this happening to myself when I was just starting to play RW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlUHnUalH64  (Mind you, I had only had the game less than a month, and only played A15 for a short while before A16 came out.  I didn't know LOTS of stuff one would want to know, like putting wires inside stone walls, etc).

I believe this to be related, but I just had this piece of artwork generated.

Bugs / Re: [1.0.1956] Weird Terrain Generation
July 05, 2018, 09:29:51 PM
I have to wonder if they'll want the save for this seed.  Every time the world is generated, roads generate differently too, so this exact layout may not happen again.

I had this happen today when loading my save (saved in 1.0.1951) into today's build (1.0.1954).  I just assumed it was some kind of balance change that modified the durability of wood.  I do have some video of the problem, but if I don't see it happen again I wasn't really worried about it.  I too also had EXACTLY 62% on most of my wood stuff.

I am glad to hear this was because of an intentional change, just as I had thought it might have been.
