This is not a bug, in my opinion.

Your faction is temporarily neutral with them, but because of the nature of it's culture your relationship will decrease if you do not put attention on them (trading or giving them presents)

Checked on new computer and it doesn't freeze. Memory consumption is not that hi, but the CPU requirements still shows 100%.

I had no try to update translation files, i will update

I had updated the translations and applied the translation correction tool. Now it freezes again after some playing.

My RimWorld build is  1.0.1982, but i started to have this problem some builds ago.

The computer have 8GB RAM and 8 of swap. I send you two images of top result: Before starting Rimworld and when RimWorld becomes frozen. When frozen, it consumes 100%CPU too. (so maybe I am wrong with the memory problem. Its a CPU problem stead)

I am playing with no mods at all.

I am playing  Rimworld Version 1.0 unstable on Ubuntu Linux Xenial version (16.04)

After about 15-30 minutes playing a new colony, the game freezes. The memory consumption ramps up.

I wait 15 minutes or so to let Linux manage the memory and I can continue playing a little bit bumpy (memory usage is at maximum level)

And for the file 'Interactions_Animal.xml'? For example?

The format of the file changed completely. I get a bunch of errors similars to
QuoteCouldn't inject AnimalChat.logRulesInitiator.rulesStrings into RimWorld.InteractionDef (Interactions_Animal.xml): Field rulesStrings defined on type Verse.Grammar.RulePack is not a field on the target object which is of type RimWorld.InteractionDef.
Parameter name: obj

I have it in the same format as RimWorld-zh, but the German file format is completely different with the new
Quote<li>tamed->machte beruhigende Laute in Richtung</li>
and so.

How can you know what to do in those files?

Sorry! I'm not right! RimWorld-zh looks to have the correct format, but still you need a base, no?

I use to use as base to translate

It's Difficulties.xml file uses the key "ExtraHard.label". I see that German translation uses "Rough.label". I will try.

If RimWorld-zh is not a confident source, how can i get the Definjected files updated to current development version?

I've found that the report keep saying:
Quote========== Def-injected translations load errors (294) ==========
Found no RimWorld.DifficultyDef named ExtraHard to match ExtraHard.label (Difficulties.xml)
Found no RimWorld.DifficultyDef named ExtraHard to match ExtraHard.description (Difficulties.xml)

But They are correctly defined in difficulties.xml :
Quote<ExtraHard.label>Extra hard</ExtraHard.label>
  <ExtraHard.description>Face brutal survival challenges. The price of survival is blood.\n\nRecommended for: Players with a lot of experience who want to push themselves beyond Hard mode.\n\nSucceeding at this level requires a well-rounded understanding of diverse strategies, an eye towards preparation, and some luck. Threats can spike and combine in vicious ways, so sometimes you'll have to accept serious losses to survive.</ExtraHard.description>

A mi me pasó lo mismo. Estoy gestionando la traducción al catalan y me desaparecieron los nombres de algunas facciones con el error que indicas.

El fallo fué por un error de formato en el fichero DefInjected/RulePackDef/RulePacks_NameMakers_Factions.xml. Revisalo (o directamente borralo, si no te importa que salgan en inglés)
I will try to explain better.

I have some work done with A17. Now appears the B18 version with a bunch of new files amb some small changes in old files.

If i try to run B18 with old A17 translation files, some things became "broken" because the tag has slighly changed.

Any way to know wich tags changed from A17 to B18? Or if there are any changes in the content of existing tags that has to be revised in translations?
The problem is the same for all Latin languages too.

I've sended an e-mail about that and Ludeon are aware. Every language in the world has its own particularities (not only for gender or plurals), and they are not going to work on that by now.

Maybe if many people asks, they will react. By now, as Catalan translator, I try to correct gender mistakes using lexical juggling when I can.
