was just putting this as a suggestion that it would be neat if the artists of the colony could work with more than just sculpture. Paintings would be neat. Floor art. Rugs. And later on with advanced technology you could have speakers playing music for the colonists throughout the base if you build speakers for a mood boost or something. With more advanced tech perhaps a artist could make a hologram artwork for really impressive stats.

I don't think I am understanding the new floor choices. Flagstone cost the same as tile but offers no beauty, no speed increase for pawns compared to tile, yields no resources when dug up but tile does give resources back, and the only benefit is it is faster to put down. Shouldn't flagstone floor be cheaper in resources to place than tile or maybe make pawns move faster than tile does? At this point I don't see why I would chose tile except that I like the way it looks. In its other attributes it is not better than tile.

How about tools? The technology smithing says crafting metal weapons and tools. Let our pawns make an ax for faster chopping of trees or a hoe for faster harvest or more bountiful harvest? If they are carrying a tool it counts as a melee weapon but probably not as good as a dedicated weapon like a sword.

Just got a megasloth that self tamed on day 12, cassandra classic, rough. Woohoo. That is probably just a really random occurrence because taming hasn't been changed much, has it? I do remember reading that animal farming is supposed to be more worthwhile now. Is that happening?

What about more darkness at night? Outside lights and torches could help keep wild animals away and illuminate the surroundings but beyond that the map should get really dark. Which also brings up the idea of new nocturnal animals and predators.
