I feel like there is no point to this expedition. It is unclear what lays at the end of my journey, or even why I embarked on it in the first place. In fact, it seems like every time I grow nearer to my destination, the goalposts seem to shift further away. At first, it was estimated that the trip would be 100 days. It has now been years since I departed from my family. I am losing hope. I have no friends of any kind to talk to, I was forced to kill the animals I left with years ago for food, and even masturbation gets old after a while. I often question my own sanity at this juncture.

Granted, your wish comes pre-corrupted. However, since the point of this game is to corrupt wishes that seem good on paper, and your request is to have your wish already corrupted, your wish ironically can't be corrupted, and nothing bad happens, which in the context of the game is a bad thing, because you're supposed to corrupt wishes. Mission accomplished?

You know the Zzt event, where your batteries short circuit and burn everything? I think that it's too rare. I say that it should happen at least once a day, with no way to disable via scenario editor. Same goes for blight. Actually, now that I mention it, blight should also affect harvested crops, where you lose a majority of your potatoes, rice, etc. after a blight. While we're at it, it should also affect meals with plant matter in them as well. And electronics ought to break down immediately after you replace the components within. You know what, even non-electronic devices ought to break down. Yeah.

So you know how in the new update, caravan events were added? Well, I just thought of a new one: caravan battles! Basically, a raider gang and an outlander union/tribe are fighting each other. You can either choose to intervene and gain favor from the group being attacked (assuming they survive) while risking the lives of your pawns, or sneak away with no risk to you. And to make it balanced, the raider gang will always be larger than the group they are engaging, so that you can't simply sit back and watch as the people you're defending decimate their enemies.

Nope. I've tried this myself with abandoned colonies. It'll be a completely new map when you re-enter the location.

Ideas / Procedurally Generated Diseases

Basically what it sounds like. As an addition to the generation process, a library of diseases unique to that planet would be made. They would all have different names, symptoms, treatability, biomes they can appear in, and they could either be fatal (such as infections) or non-fatal (such as sensory mechanites). Here's an example, as a proof-of-concept.

Name: Nakria

Symptoms, stage 1: Pain +20, Consciousness -10, Moving -5

Symptoms, stage 2: Pain +30, Consciousness -30, Moving -10, Manipulation -5

Symptoms, stage 3: Pain +70, Consciousness -50, Moving -20, Manipulation -10

Fatal: Yes

Starting progress: 55%

Starting immunity: 50%

Biomes: Tundra, Boreal Forest, Temperate Forest

Chance to appear, respectively: 1.76%, 1.54%, 0.68%.

For everyone who kept track of the little serial I did recently, you might recognize this. So anyway, I was sending some guys off to investigate an item stash, and along the way, the caravan gets a stick up from a lone raider. The weird thing is, the only thing he demanded was a pair of pants from one of the pawns. I spent 5 minutes just laughing at the mental image of a man holding a stick in a threatening manner at someone demanding that they hand over their pants. Of course, I refused to comply, and when I checked his gear, the only thing he was wearing was a duster. I guess he needed a pair of pants himself, and couldn't be bothered to just get it in a safer way, a mistake that ended up costing him his life.

I don't know what circumstances in your life led you to mug people for their pants, but I'll always remember you, Pants Bandit.

Hi! So I encountered a weird glitch with batteries. Colonists will not repair batteries, nor can I force them to, unless I exit the save and re-enter it. Then, they will be perfectly fine with fixing the battery...unless it gets damaged again.
