Some of your minified things do not like being minified. From your mod list, it is probably from Ultimate Survival. You can try to find MinifiedFurniture507125 in your save game to see what it is and remove it.

General Discussion / Re: Penoxycyline and plague

Incident mechanics seem a bit complicated, but from what I've got if all colonists and prisoners are immune to the disease, it would use another event instead. So it may be beneficial to leave one least useful colonist without protection.

Bugs / Re: Animals starving but no notification

The game is only notifying when animals are seriously starving.
Miscarry can be caused by ANY starvation level, which can easily be caused by animal going top sleep with a food bar below half.

Unless you are under a mountain.Quote from: Oblitus on August 14, 2017, 07:54:16 AMInteresting, I didn't know the game process of temperature was so smart.
Area size is A².
Perimeter size is 4A.
The speed of temp equalizing is directly influenced by area/perimeter ratio which is A/4. So 8x8 freezer would be two times more efficient than a 4x4 freezer.
However, the cooler is supposed to be more efficient to keep a small area cold than a big one so it should counterbalance the loss.
If you try with a perimeter wall twice as thick (the better insulation), how does the variation of temperature evolve ?

Hotfix: no more flickering on small worlds.
Fun thing: anti-flickering is exactly two times larger than the actual stuff. Magic numbers...

August 14, 2017, 07:03:33 AMQuote from: SpaceDorf on August 14, 2017, 06:42:26 AMNo, it is generated on file load. First map open just generates visual representation.
you are a genius.
what causes the mismatch ?
or do you have to force the size override everytime the planet surface is createt ?
( i guess everytime after loading, when you first open the map screen ? )
Prototype relesed on my github.

Well, here are some globe experiments.
Vanilla globe:

Globe with 30% of vanilla surface area:

Note, due to how tile generator works, it is very crude approximation. It has ≈65000 tiles, while 30% default map has ≈120000 tiles, but next generator step will give ≈197000 tiles on 100% coverage, and limiting coverage to 50% kinda kills the point. Tile count is always around 3^N value.

Why?
seriously guys, its impossible. there is nothing technically anyone can do- Github will not work on my computer. It wont. no amount of troubleshootingwill make it work. Please believe me.
Same here. I've never seen a webpage not work where at most a different browser didn't fix the issue.
-trying to use desktop app, and not webpage?
-IP banned from github?
-country bans github access?
very mysterious, makes me want to know!

August 12, 2017, 09:26:56 PMQuote from: SpaceDorf on August 12, 2017, 09:01:43 PMYes, but the taste is subjective. Doesn't it mean that this personal perception is more important?Quote from: Oblitus on August 12, 2017, 05:53:09 PM
But now we have a problem. Do snakes taste like chickens, or chickens taste like snakes?
If only all questions were as easy to answer as this one
Not only does the Species of Serpentes existed previous to the Species of Aves, they both descended from the larger families of Reptilies. In addtion to that Chicken and other small flightless Birds are common prey for Snakes.
Based on these facts it stands to reason, that the taste of Chicken and Snake was similiar to begin with.
From there it is easy to deduce that by evolutionary selection Chicken and Chicken Egss tasting similiar to their serpentile Predators where less likely to be eaten by them.
In conclusion. Chicken does in fact taste like Snake.
It is only our personal Human perception, often having tasted Chicken long before Snake, that we compare the new taste to something allready known to us.
