btw, that sammy gerador was a hidden lover from prepare carefully... its the sammy baby im trying to edit...



so just find that nametriple and find sammy baby and edit entire name as i please??

another question.. is there likely a future bug or error by just editing the names of specific colonists?? like social interactions of "old name" to "new name" or references regarding that colonist's "pre-edited name"

and last question: is there a max character limit on first and last names of pawns??? coz i remember while using prepare carefully.. one of my colonist's last name hit a limit of 12 letters..

So i want to change the names of some of my colonists, NAMES and not nicknames... not just first name, but also last name as well..

i've searched steam workshop and the forums here, and there isn't seems a mod that allows you to change full names.. i've seen the save editor here in the forums, but that seems severely outdated...

so that leaves me to no choice but use save editing... so anyone experienced on save editing rimworld savefiles and guide me into changing just 1 particular colonist to have a proper family name lol


here is the reason why i want to change name:

Sammy doesn't seem to be related to either parents, so i want to change her name entirely resembling a relative of her parents lol... sammy is also seemed to be lord vader's lover even though she is not even a year old lol.. She would like to distance herself from that other sammy, so anyone who can help her solve her issues would be greatly appreciated..

i have this and apparello and i got no crashes... likely medieval world or another one.... and i do have medieval times mod, but also not crashing.. i hope this helps you

since the helixion mentioned on steamworkshop page that there will be no a17 version of this mod, can anyone out there who is playing this mod on an a17 version or anyone with rimworld modding knowledge help us plebs who want to play this help us what "changes" we need to do on the files in order to make it "a17 compatible"????

I'm interested in "Dont shave your head" mod... i'm currently running headgear frame mod, and apparello seems not compatible with that mod coz i'm getting bald pawns whenever i wear headgear from that mod... i don't know if the mod author is still planning to maintain that mod, so now im looking for alternatives...


i already looked at this mod https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=33575.msg348890#msg348890, and it seems a no go coz it is incompatible with Children and preggers mod...

i'm hoping your mod can fill the gap on the head of my pawns by helping them prevent baldness lol

so i think i may have isolated the 2 minor, and so far-luckily non-gamebreaking problems i have encountered so far... and it seems the zabrak race mod is the culprit...

http://imgur.com/iTu7pfv this is my first problem, i can't seem to get any info(such as my relation ratings or faction members of other colonies) in relations tab.. fluffy noticed the chubby face-tattoed guy on far left corner doesn't have a faction symbol.. my initial guess seems that guy is a zabrak... i tried to click him and can't even click him..

dang.. i didn't realized that this modder has created a stargate mod... too bad it seems to have a bug where your social relations reset each time you use a stargate...

It works and its funny to watch mods interact with eachother.
lol i noticed it too... toddlers can't do jobs, yet can flush toilet, wash in basins, or even use the bathtubs.. kinda immersion breaking, but still works lol..

so i'm wondering what's the current progress of the mod?? just checked the github page and its been ~20 days since the mod was last updated lol..

So i just got my first baby now a toddler.. lol i had to create an a zoned area he can wander around so he don't get himself into trouble.. my impressions so far, i don't have a kid so i don't exactly know how babies/toddlers behave :p, toddlers crawling around is ok but them being able to eat by themselves seems unrealistc just like real life and seems immersion breaking lol.. i don't know if its possible to code, so that they can crawl around, but still needs to be fed..

also a suggestion: clothing that is only specific for babies/toddlers/children.. its for temperature comfortability and for immersiveness lol..


also i don't know if its a bug or not:

in that photo:i didn't realized since on prepare carefully i had lord vader a hidden lover.. and didn't realized it has the same name as the newborn baby.. and also the baby girl doesn't have the same last name as father/mother... bug??

another suggestion: ability to name a baby.. i know you can edit the nickname anytime, but i'm not sure if its possible to mod or edit the name???

Mod bugs / Re: No events happening in game?

i'm a newbie here, so i don't know how much i can help...

is the colony a new campaign?? if yes, then likely an ancient danger is somewhere on the map.. on my recent campaign a few hours ago of gametime, my colont was still stuck on new arrivals and didn't gave me an option to rename it, get the marriage event procurring, or electing a leader(from leadership mod).. googling around told me to find and defeat that ancient danger.. i did and everything went to normal..

so hopefully that helps...


if your campaign is already been going for quite sometime and no events happened just recently, well i don't know how to help you..

good luck and hopefully your bugs get fixed..
