So, I just realized that my game calendar says May. Raj, is that right?  I've been watching the clock and I don't think I've overshot.  (Sorry, no spoilers!)

@theapolaustic1, my projection of this finishing by this weekend was a conservative one.  I actually think that I can finish by Thursday.  Either way, I'm starting today.  No need to try squeeze one in, but definitely update the schedule and get more players in the rotation!

Hehe - I had that happen once.  There was a pod crash, and a rather useless pawn tumbled out.  He landed on the east edge of the map, and seconds later a HUGE tribal group showed up right on top of the guy.  After milling around a bit, the tribals grabbed the unlucky fellow and made off with him.  I was pretty pleased, myself.  (Thanks Randy!)  :D

Maybe I'm encountering a bug then, but I keep my food inside.  Behind Power Doors (no mods).  While they usually loiter outside, they will often walk right on in like they own the joint.  Is this a bug then?

The so-called allies are a HUGE pain in the butt.  They steal your food and make your colonists go insane.  They're really enemies whether or not they're openly hostile.  It's better this way.  ;)

They should end when it's destroyed, but most effects have a cooldown period before they wear off.  Haven't tested this one yet, though.

skivvy96, upload your image to postimage.org.  It'll give you a forum tag to copy/paste here that will give a thumbnail view and a link to the full image.

For colony defense, I recommend any type of weapon that fires multiple bullets at once (burst). 
More bullets = more hits = more chance to seriously wound or incapacitate

Also, why would anyone use concrete for the floor?  The only things flooring does is prevent plants from growing and therefore fires from spreading.  Go with wood floors - it's cheap and it makes your colonists happy.

UrbanBourbon, thanks for looking into that.  I wondered about it myself.  ;)
I'm sure Tynan will do some updating/tweaking when he gets the chance, but I bet a mod could suffice in the meantime.

I've skipped few builds on purpose so this got so much cool new stuff its really fun to play again.
You can usually find a geothermal geyser or two buried in a mountain.  And that makes power no problem at all!  Also, use fertilizer pumps or hydroponics in your mountainhome to make food indoors.  Happy mining to you!
