Ideas / Colonists Automatically Find Cover

I have noticed that right now colonists, regardless of being drafted or not never find cover.
It would be really nice if non-drafted colonists would try to avoid the battle or at least find cover.Same could go for drafted colonists, my reason being is that they stand like lemons in the line of fire until you order them. This can be a real pain if you select 5 at a time.

Yes you do have the option to press the space bar and pause the game to do it manually, but if they a near a wall that will provide cover from the incoming fire, they could run to it. Unless of course the player chooses to override it. My main reason for ths is i have lost a few colonists needlessly because a hauler has decided that mid battle it is a good time to collect that metal behind enemy lines. So you have to scramble to draft him and save him.

This might be to much hassle to add to the game but i thought it was worth a shot

You probably all know this and it is a very silly question. But what is versem i have seen it mentioned in the change log.
But i am just curious, looks to be for AI and stuffs :)

As you guys know from playing, the player gets visits from other factions from time to time.
It would be nice if you could manually work one of your colonists off the map to view the other settlements, and have your settlement continue functioning. :D

Native yorkshireman here.
I backed rimworld during the kickstarter and i have followed it ever since.
I make videos on the updated gameplay almost every alpha to show people what has changed :D

I have the mod enabled and i have killed a few raiders but no zombies?

How long does it normally take for zombie to begin to appear?
Will they only start once i kill raiders?

hmmm, on the latest release i did not encounter any zombies at all for 7 nights?

For the muffalo problem you can set one colonist to fire on the bugger and manually move the muffalos target untill dead :D
