Mods / [Mod Request] B18 Smart Speed's x0.5 Button

The Smart Speed Mod (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=803734444) allowed users to rune the game at half of normal speed without pause-spamming micro. Does anyone else have a mod that can do that?

Yay! The ability to lock (not just forbid) doors is priceless. It should be in vanilla...

Nice work! I had to go pull the 2MB Mining Helmet B18 out of the 75MB master download because the releases doesn't have the mod itself (just the source), and I couldn't download just a subfolder...

Seems like a conflict within the mod settings itself. Before that it worked fine with my 50 other B18 mods.

In order to try to workaround this error I must know exactly which is the other mod that causes it (I'm sorry, but really I can't track it down all by myself). You could try disabling one other mod at time, then the one disabled when the error does not show up is the incompatible one. Once done that, if the error show up with only FoW mod and this other mod, than report its name and I will try to identify and workaround the problem.

Rimworld Mod Checker reports no conflicts, although it reports none for all my turned off mods. I'm not sure If I have to enable them for it to actually check them. It does correctly display the number of XML files in the directory, though. As best I can tell Rimworld is fairly resilient to XML conflicts anyway. Only name-matched text inside XMLs are actually overwritten so everyone can just add their own stuff for Defs\ResearchProjectDefs\Research.xml or whatever. And everyone uses the most up to day Huglib and Harmony, so those load orders don't matter.

Anyways, I'll retry adding this mod to the pile slower next time with B19.

Although I get 4 errors on map load, this worked okay until I added rimfire. Now whenever the friendly fire is checked (even without the overlay), right clicking a target drops the frps to around 1.  :o

I'm not exaggerating the 1 fps. Sometimes the game hangs for 4 seconds until the overlay goes away. All I want to do is tell my pawn to fire at the target!  :-\

If a colonist was stabbed but dressed the wound, do they count as "bleeding" even though blood loss is going down rather than up?

I'm looking to make infestations happen in small rooms but not in big ones. I'd appreciate someone making such a mod with XML to adjust those as users see fit.

I wish to do a simple XML edit to make Masochists have 50% of the consciousness hit that normal people have for various levels of pain. After all, when you like what you're feeling its not so distracting.

But I can't find where pain affects consciousness at all.

Very nice. Can we make those self-doctors treat their bruises without medicine, but still use the glitterworld medicine on their malaria?

Well darn I thought this was a reverse engineering mod: you find a charge rifle, then you take it apart and get tech points towards charge rifles, etc.
