Animals. Just ANIMALS!
I hate that my rat terrier can't do anything but fight, and gets their lil legs torn off by a horde of rats.
I thinks some animals should have unique training, like boars can charge and knock someone over, a warg could disarm, Bears could grapple, and yes, rat terriers can sniff out infestations before they occur. So finally, your rat, cat, and bat (if that's implemented) can be useful.

OH! OH! I got one/two/three!
-Disco Ball: When powered on, rapidly switches colors. Roof mounted. Plays trash 80's music.
-Flying Mechanoid- Because a one shot sniper and killer bus was just not enough. Flies over cover, picks up colonists (just forcing them to move with them), and books it. You can still hit/ shoot it as it has you, and fairly weak. Comes in swarms. I can imagine all the tragic stories that would come with this...
-Emergency Generator / backup lights: I know there's a pod for the generator, but why not. Can be switched on by the player, no flick required. Provides little power, but lasts for a year before breaking. The lights require tiny amounts of power, and only switch on when the backup gen is on, they are very ugly, and low HP. I keep thinking when your base is emptied, your animals are dead, and the ship is gone, a wanderer could join, and enter your derelict. I think that would be cool, and too specific.

Chapter 1: Good times, good times
(I'm not writing this as a narrative because I cannot relate to actual people very well)
2 tribals, one F human and F Elephant-man. I started with nothing, so we had to gather stuff, and pronto. I was on a volcanic biome, so trees were limited. I built a shitty bad hut. It was small, but better than nothing. A crafting spot was built, and so a bow and shiv was born. Okay, I forgot human #1's name, but I remember Ms. Elephant, Green. So green started mining, and as she brought steel back, a dire wolf ambushed her! It leaped from a ledge and knocked her down! Human #1, Let's call her Rain, turned to see her friend on the ground screaming, stabbing at the wolf on top of her as it nonchalantly chewed on her left ear. Okay, the story would have ended right now as the beast could easily tear open a unarmored tribal and tank dozens of arrows. I may have cheated a bit, weakening it. They killed it , with Green losing her ear and gaining several scratches. She recovered, and two days later we had a rice farm and small grill. That night was foggy, and Rain was bringing back berries as she noticed a strange effigy in the distance...

Since my local comic store's closing (R.I.P), I thought about a pen and dice game for RW, like D&D. You can directly take the stats of your favorite character in the original game and play AS them. Now the only issue is that this is not a video game, and Tynan is no Game Workshop or Wizards Of The Coast, so this would just be a pretty cool fan project.

-Superstitious Tribes ("Oh geez! A triangular stockpile zone filled with alpaca corpses! Let's skadoods!")
-Human "hurt" sounds. (Toggle able setting, hopefully. Or at least for wimps. If I were shot with a charge lance in the liver I'd vocalize... a little... okay a lot)
-A skill tree for animals (+Bloodpump -cooldown ect)

Disgusting mod. Love it! Here's some horrific ideas:
-Heart Generator powered by blood and meat.
-Pulsing Stomach that works as a efficient but disgusting paste maker
-A mass of livers that makes neutromine. I don't know how
-A bloated kidney that makes medicine.
-A brain thingy that controls lesser minded beasts.

Mods / {Mod Request} Starship Theory

So there was a game called Starship Theory. It's like FTL and Rimworld together. I recommend looking it up, as I can't explain things well. It was abandoned when the dev had a early born child, as well as other domestic events. Some say it's a scam, but it WAS early access so...

Anyway, it is do able in RW, and with Mars mod having a oxygen system already, it could be done. Besides, RW has hydroponics, research, and ship parts. In closing, this would be an awesome mod to have!

*One lucky shot hits Fred smack dab in the head, blowing it off and spraying viscera over Bob*

This, in many different forms, has been suggested. And to be honest, I think that the people of the Rim are too respectful
-Walks into room filled with silver- "oh hey, that's a lot of silver" - walks out without pocketing a single piece despite having a terrible heart condition that leaves him with 2 seasons to live with a synthetic replacement-
So I think that a colony judicial system would be neat, even choosing different kinds of laws and government, heck, even having a civics research tree! Something like this:
Governmental type research 1
Your researcher discovers the basics of society and what make people tick. Unlocks Chiefdom, Communal Society, and Basic Democracy.

So Chiefdom (neolithic) will upgrade into Monarchy (Medieval) then Dictatorship (Industrial). I can't think of a spacer version, but anyway each would have their own perks, events, and subtypes, for example, Chiefdom would need to select a chief, so would you select the oldest, the wisest (the most intelligence), the most charismatic (social), or (my favorite) a trial by blood (not to the death... For the most part) to see who's the strongest. Each leader may have an agenda like a science based leader may want labs built, or a warrior would want to see weapons made. This would increase the leaders chance to be re-appointed if it is a democracy, or just to level up a monarchist, for every year in office, small buffs could be put in place.

Would you be able to worship another god, for example Gork & Mork, as another race? Or is that lore breaking? Not that I know anything about 40K.

I'd love to see orbital mercs, each with their own way of "dealing with things"
Examples:
The Zenith Orbital Hireling Guild: Gives essentially a weaker orbital targeter.
The Drop Pod Enthusiasts Club: Launches Many, although weak, mercs under your command.
The Last Battalion: Fires 3 drop pods, each with a powerful veteran.
I know that is sorta off topic, as by mercs I'm sure you meant the friendly reinforcements. Sorry.

Hello. I used this mod yesterday and I have to say I really enjoyed it. I was able to see how my airlock was letting out cold, and in a cold biome this was a important issue. Quick question though, can we get a one for beauty and the like, I'd greatly appreciate it.
