Thanks for this! Good to have another food item to add.
My only suggestion: If you're using the vanilla bases for your items, you don't have to include the duplicated base defs in your mod, or if you made changes, you should probably consider renaming the base defs so that they don't override other modded items that rely on vanilla bases. I got a red exception error thrown on loading because the bases included were actually using parameters that are no longer in B18. But works fine once I deleted those from the folder.

Cool, i'll try this in my plastic colony, it'll be black and white
Edit: ABS polymer weave has an armor blunt modifier of 12500% i guess it's an oversight. Otherwise nice mod to use with simple plastics and reinforced ABS polymer weave is really powerful

Thanks Sublime, I very much appreciate you taking the time to post that for me, but I'm afraid there has been a miscommunication
What I mean is, I want an entirely new <stuffCategory>, so instead of only having fabric, leathery, metallic, woody, stony, I want to add my own new one in, whatever I want. I was wondering if I can achieve this via only xml, and I suppose I can probably find my answer if I look further into a specific metal or stone and browse around the xml defs, I just haven't gotten around to this yet
That was the reason I typed out something like <Gemstones>, because I know this does not exist in the game as far as I know.

Awesome. I haven't looked into it, but I was wondering if it was possible to make your own <type> or whatever through just xml. Because I've modded in some gemstones: ruby, emerald, sapphire, and quartz. And I want to make some things to be able to made out of this stuff, and not necessarily go through every item and add these defs in a possible ingredients, ya'know what I mean? If I could have a <gemstone> type, that might be appropriate. I want this to be for maybe some weapons and an armor, but not workbenches, furniture, and other things that can be made from woody, stony, and metallic. Because like I said, then I need to go in and add or remove my new gemstones from everything else already in the game. Or at least that's how I am understanding things at the moment.

It looks amazing. I have seen other polymer mod but it was looking awful for me. I am currently making few armors and i will sure make one as addon to use Your ABS Polymer.
Thanks for this mod!
Something like this:

Pretty cool! So do this act as a <stoney> or <metallic> type of stuff by chance?
