Don't forget this would also impose a time limit to your play time. I've got a few colonies that, so far, won't ever be overrun. But suddenly it is done because of a time limit? No thanks.

I won't even play Fallout 1 without the time extension.

If anything, Doctor Who is overrated. It is quirky, and that is about it. I suppose that is enough for most though.

SG-1 is probably my favorite Sci-Fi show of all time.

There is a work around for the limited amount of colonists you can get. I was stuck at 12 and one of them had a mental breakdown and went crazy, so I arrested him. Well. This freed up my colonist spot so immediately I had a traveler come by. Not an ideal way to do it, but I suppose you could make crazy rooms you send people into so they go mad and you get to arrest them. I will test crazy rooms at some point. Dark 1x1 rooms.

Bugs / Stuck in Build Spot

This is a weird one. My workers appear to be enjoying themselves rather than building this single section of wall. I have no idea why, but I currently have two citizens stuck in this spot of unbuilt wall. I stress that their paths are not blocked and they are not being stopped from building it, they are just running onto the build spot and staying there, ignoring other build work. I can draft them and move them out and they will run back in. I can cancel the build spot and they will proceed as normal, but they wont build on this spot. PICTURES.



They do appear to be having a chat. Good job construction team!

Yeah, I assume 30 is well past the expected amount of colonists, but I could be wrong. Seems like a good number to me though, and yeah, I can't get more than 12-15 on any other mode.

Now, I assume there is a plan for all the critters roaming around, so I'm not really looking to get anything added with them. What I would like though, it so maybe  designate a few people to go out and deliver a little frontier justice to our furry friends in the form of the bullet handshake.

Yeah I've found that digging 4 wide tunnels will generally negate the cramp complaints although actually I think 2 wide should negate as well, but I don't recall offhand if that's correct.

Well, this is the first time I tried the Sandbag wall sandbag wall combo, and it works really well. Just gotta keep an eye out for frags, that is probably how at least two of my guys died. Other than that, not really. I had a number of really good shooters on my side and a lot of M-24s and 16s. Also I didn't use any turrets this time beyond my initial defense. Then I got rid of them as they are an energy drain, and I can't tell them where to shoot.

Oh wait, no, I lied. Two raids just landed back to back. Its 44 vs. 24, let's see if I can fight them off.

Update: I can. Easily apparently. Only 4 casaulties, and I left only 7 of them live.

Hmm, actually, with my latest colony, I've only had 3 or 4 raider attacks after 62 days. One terrible squirrel attack I posted about elsewhere though. But I am also on Randy so maybe that has something to do with it.

Seriously, I have never suffered so much damage from actual raiders. Randy? y u h8n?

This was about 30 squirrels in all. No one died, but the people I had incapacitated... somewhere around 10. Good times.

I love this game.
