is it possible to have a colony be unloaded but still aging? would pair well with a colony made up of babies from children and pregnancy and their parents so they can age up without having to be useless for a while, and let you focus on a secondary colony during this without having to worry about raids and whatnot

Maybe children can lower your colony wealth, with it increasing as they age to balance the temporary useless additions firepower wise? Not sure if thats possible.

I generally prefer letting them age naturally over using something that ages them artificially. Does anyone know of a mod that lets you put a faction base on 'freeze' (so that you dont have to play as it and be subjected to raids, upkeep etc but with time passage continuing? I say this so that I can play a secondary colony while the colony with kids just focuses on growing.

I believe Faction Control mod have something like this, and let you load the colony back when you wanted to play as them but unfortunately that didn't age them while they were unloaded. Also not sure if this is possible either

do tribals use the bubbles too? would be cool if you couldnt understand them. or if certain factions had indeicipherable communications

Hey Iarsyn remember we were talking about the drug war mod you were planning before? Well Mehni just came out with his own mod to improve faction interaction(its even in the name!) and I thought you might wanna try it and maybe get some inspiration when you get back. Its 1.0 only though, but maybe it will be featured in a review before long

The cartel mod is about 90% complete.  I'll look into Mehni's mod before I release it.  I'm waiting on 1.0 to drop before I update everything/release new stuff.  Thanks for letting me know about it!  :)

And a little announcement of sorts.  The reason I haven't been able to mod much recently, is that I was hired by Tynan to do all the new artwork for 1.0 (he saw my sandbag re-texture and really liked it and the rest is history).  It's been a lot of work and a lot of fun.  I hope that everyone likes the new designs/artwork.  Its also why I'm listed as a dev now.  With the release inevitable, I should be able to get my mods updated soon.

Hello, I wish someone could make a Facial Stuff compatibility patch?
it just says the incompatibility is visual, is it that much of a problem? I dont recall it being bad back in b18. Maybe try killface on his steam page?

Uhhhh... Not for Colonists. But for Animals...

So Puppies, Yay!!!

But Kids... Not so much...

Kinda hard to understand what mangalores was trying to say... But think he mean't the Core Game has the Pregnancy part, Only for the Animals without touching DevMode with the Hediff that adds the Pregnancy to people, but it doesn't have the graphics for the babies it only makes them look weird like a tiny person and isn't satisfying and feels weird...
errr...animal pregnancy has been in for a while now no?

It's been a while... I really do hope that this mod is still being continued on!!

It sad if it's abandoned... :(

I think it would need a full rewrite given the core game now covers the pregnancy part.
