I also started a new game and like dofolo I also added a mod though this one lets me play on the ice sheet, not even winter yet and ive lost a toe to frostbite

well im starting over apparently, interior of my base is around 300C farm burned down, stockpile of animal corpses gone, half my colonists died to the heat in the base no way I'm going to survive with with no food and such...

That looked like it hurt a lot!

It did half the colonists in that fight got infections, i had nearly 50 med packs before the fight, now i only have 3
i realy hope i can buy more before i need more

the first two im fighting spit the needles not too much to see there but its against the fire spitters where you can see some of what im talking about, at 3:28 or so one of the spitters seem to shoot a lot further than i expect possible at a bit after 4 min you can see one of the spitters hitting colonists that technically are behind a wall

also did a bit of testing

Ah that depends what they spit. If they spit fiery goo try to get close with stuff like smg's. the spitter will try and run away. If it is one with spines it is often best to use a sniper rifle on them.

I am working my ass off on getting the nesting behaviour up and running. Soon the horrors start nesting, and feeding. I have many plans for the mod. Let's hope I manage to get most of it in :)

those two horrors are just sitting there but as soon as a colonist gets in range they attack, and i cant seem to lure them to my base
any suggestions on how to take them down without, hopefully, any losses?

ok those spitters are OP
they shoot through walls as in once they decide to shoot something, they will fire even if the target is behind something like a wall and they will hit that target
they also seem to do this with targets that go out of range

Downloading latest v9 (was on b) and giving it a new whirl :)

with how often zombies come slaughter themselves on my lone makeshift turret, it gets annoying turning it on and off, most ive ever burned was something like 7 in one day, and they came one at a time every couple of hours

well I'm keeping crash landing in mine for now as my current game is doing well with it,  unless its possible to remove it without causing problems with my current game. as for trading for food, what food? all traders I've gotten never had any food

as for my current game, its doing well... mostly currently having major power issues because there is very little light to turn into power in winter and wind turbines seem practically useless most of the time

What exactly does the razor rain do?

Also all these people passing me, I shall reclaim my spot once more

RazorRain is a ton of metal debris falling from the sky.

it also likes to penetrate the mountains and land right on top of colonists killing them most of the time

so after many restarts and fails to hunger, damn you randy hitting me with blight or flares when my crops are at 99% growth
but one of my better games i managed to last a year, and then winter came around and it got too cold inside my base for crops to grow. its surprisingly fun trying to survive in the ice sheet

The event where one prisoner kills another is there nothing we can do about it to save the life of that one prisoner? as soon as that message pops up, the prisoner is dead. out of all the events this mod gives, the deaths of prisoners are the ones I hate the most
