I'd say more like an unintended side effect.
You're supposed to Release prisoners, if you don't want them.
Also hovering the mouse over a target on the World map shows you what it does.

But I agree they shouldn't enslave their own unless they were already a slave.

Bugs / Re: [1.0.2559] Unable to open bill tab

Are you using mods?
If so, disable them, since some or most of them probably have already updated to 1.1 without giving a 1.0 version (cross-version-compatibility).

If not, did you try updating to 1.1 from 1.0 and see if that fixed the bug? I've never encountered that (playing vanilla).

Never had this happen unless there was a path to my food (no door, held open door, etc).

So I suggest to keep your freezer closed. And if you happen to have built in ruins, claim all that to make sure it's yours.

I noticed this as well; colonists won't necessarily finish queued orders. I think they evaluate their priorities after every done task. Although this behaviour doesn't apply for tasks done at any work station.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Place down some walls.
2. have a pawn with Construction on 2 and Cleaning on 1 (or any other Work that can be done at the time, say Cooking).
3. Order this colonist to build every wall section via shift-click.
4. Most likely he'll/she'll finish the first section and then return to his/her highest priority task, instead of finishing the queue.

There is no material selection just a thing.
Same happen with weapons or appareal.
You used to be able to select similar building items (bed rolls, uninstalled furniture) prior to 1.1.

Now, if you have, say, multiple shelves lying around, double-ckicking one won't select all shelves (even when made from same material), let alone all minified uninstalled building items.

This worked in 1.0.

Is not possible without moving the map view. It's probably rather a minor bug, but I thought I'll mention it.
Edit: Ok, I found out it's less problematic when I set the UI scaling from 1.25 to 1. But it still happens with the categories at lower position of the screen if UI scaling is set to default again.
Yeah I noticed this as well. That's why I disabled mouse-scrolling in Options. You can still pan the camera via WASD and middle-mouse button.
So if you want a workaround: disable mouse panning/scrolling in Options.

Addendum: It works with most (99%?) minified things however bed rolls seem to be excluded (it doesn't matter whether they're all the same material or not).

I had to adjust a couple bills when 1.1 dropped.
Go to Assign > Manage Outfits > Choose Anything/Soldier/Worker (whichever you have for him) and make sure Recon Armor and Helmet are ticked.

Hey Tynan and community!

I know I had a similar thread already up.
I tried to select similar minified thing (having two Cloth Bedrolls), but that doesn't work as well.
Maybe an oddity of a former 1.0 save or an oversight/bug?

When you loaded your modded 1.0 save in 1.1, did you, by any chance, save the game?

Hello!

In 1.0 it was possible to double-click a minified thing (for example an uninstalled bedroll) in order to select all minified things on-screen.

This is no longer possible as of 1.1.

Would love to attach a save game but max size is 1000KB and my save game's size is 32,162.

You should be able to load a non-Royalty savefile and then experience all new content as usual. The only thing you'll miss are 2 optional intro quests and some additional Empire faction bases that you would normally get after generating a new world.
Thank you!

I have two question to you !
Where did you read about the new coming update 1.1 ?
You read about the coming changes but didn't you read
QuoteTechnical details

If you're playing without mods: You'll be able to update and continue playing on the new version without interruption.

If you're using mods that haven't added support for 1.1: You can continue playing version 1.0 as long as you like by using the version-1.0 beta branch. To access it, right-click RimWorld in your Steam library list, click Properties, then select the 'betas' tab. Select 'version-1.0' from the drop-down list. You'll want to change this back to 'default' eventually.

Basicly it allready answer your question.
I did read this and it didn't answer whether you get to experience new content or not.
