I have the same proble, guess not everyone is so sensitive like us for frameteime lags,

i use fps monitor and my frametime behaviour is exactly how people described them here

even on vanilla i have framespikes on a brand new colony?!



while in menue i can watch runtime gc net vm go to like 975 and my frametime goes to like 200 spiky from 16
while ingame i can watch runtime gc net vm go to like 1385 and my frametime goes skyhigh to like 650

1. still stutters every 3-5 sec

I noticed RimWorld was loading things from mods i didn't have anymore, try to do a clean install: uninstall the game, delete the game folder AND the documents folder.
I'm testing right now and i had to spawn 80 colonists to start having freezes again, the lag spike from the gabage collector is like a frame skip, barely noticeable, with 3x speed and 4 mods: startup impact, mod manager, runtimegc and hugslib.

Try that out and let me know!

having the same issue,

1. will try reinstall and deleting appdata folders
2. will try w/o runtime gc
3. will try run w/o prison labor

d00d just click the small smiley icon that you can see on your screenshots during preperations

seems its really pretty nature but its soo pretty and it has like no effect except the messages

iam at 140 days recieved it several times

just got it - just turned off rimquest
maybe it really is pretty nature.. but its soo pretty

iam in a 5 hours new seed game without rimquest and didnt have that message yet. all other stuff is still on. Ill wait for it too
When there appeared a caravan, i usually had a small flash to the worldmap like a blink for a second. i felt like rimquest is seeding the locations on entering the map for the possible quests to give. even if you wont accept them they may produce emtpy letters.

Hi mate ive the same problem i greenlight the mods iam using aswell.
I personally think its rimquest and iam testing right now.


The ones i was using with a new game aswell are orange marked, rimquest seems to be garbage, quest on slaves, quest in the ocean etc.

I've some trouble with one mod, but I don't know which one it is.

So I believe one of them causes it. Because the message is really rare, I can't reproduce it. Had it 2 times for now.
Can anyone help me? Maybe someone had the same issue and does know which mod it is.
