How is this suggestion different to the dozens of first-person survival games that are currently on the market?

The reason I play Rimworld is because it is a survival game that is NOT first person.

if I have slaves I want to keep as slaves I'll set them to reduce their resistance. It's good practice for the wardens and brings their resistance to zero permanently - which gives you more options in the future.

I'm going to start a "Dear diary" for my next play-through and you're invited to join me by following the colony's daily journal entries.

Niklas the pawn will be updating this journal regularly so you can see Rimworld from a new perspective - the pawns perspective. Join me and Niklas as we try to survive Phoebe (rough) and the Rim.

I've set up a read-only Discord server so i can post Niklas journal entries there. Join the server and check for new journal entries each day.  :)  Come share in the triumph's and disasters that await this brand new colony. Think of it like a twitter feed - except on Discord.

I use zones to keep them in/near the guard house, but then of course they starve to death because they can't reach the food.  :P

From my observation:

If you set someone to harvest then they will sow and harvest and maybe cut.

If you set someone to cut then they will harvest or cut.

Or something like that.  IDK - I just remember it being very inconsistent.

This is a Rimflix movie. You need to place Rimflix and this movie in the mod folder (after unzipping of course).

I haven't done patching before but it looks pretty straight forward. This would resolve the one known conflict with the turtle mod.

I was determining if this mod a) worked and b) has interest before putting on steam.

Just a PSA reporting a conflict with SIMPLE SLAVERY mod (or visa versa).

The simple slavery mod allows me to collar prisoners and they appear to be normal colony pawns. They appear in the WORK tab and I can assign clothes and draft them and to all the things a normal colonist can do.

I have been using GU&G for a while now (and love it greatly!) with no issues but only recently added the simple slavery mod. This is when I first had issues. When I highlight every pawn (including prisoners that are now colonists) and then click GU&G, the GU&G provides a cheeky message about the mod not working (something like "something went wrong with Better Pawn Control ..."). And yes - I use BPC very successfully with GU&G.

As an experiment, I restarted the save game and then highlighted every pawn EXCEPT the collared prisoners and then GU&G works as expected with BPC.

Long story short - highlighting collared prisoners and clicking GU&G causes all sorts of issues.

I'm simply reporting for the mod author and for others. There is a simple work around and I'll continue to use both mods. Cheers n beers.   8)

Edit: actually - it might be with BPC because BPC will set the clothes policy but the prisoner pawns won't wear them. I have to force them to wear clothes so ... yeah.

I made a show using the CREATE SHOW option in the game - no xml editing. I'm curious to find out where my show is saved and can I share this show without doing the xml editing you describe in the github?

I haven't played with this yet - I see github has image sizes defined, have you tested what happens if mod images are slightly larger? They are simply scaled up or down? I guess my real question is, will images the wrong size break the mod/game?
