Will do. Quite honestly, I could take or leave the food, medicine, and raw materials storage aspects- it's the weapons lockers, clothing racks, and ability to store items that are normally unstackable (like organs, artifacts, etc) that really interests me.

How would this work with bonfires under thick roofs? Would this mechanic include ventilation systems to prevent asphyxiation as well?

The poker table really kind of takes care of the playing cards already. Have you checked out the Rimwriter mod? It adds a bunch of books, scrolls, and clay tablets- plus the ability to craft some of your own, and bookshelves to keep them in. It sounds like it might be what you're looking for if you haven't already seen it.

Humanoid Project does seem to have been the issue. I started a new colony without it installed and I'm already at one year without any freezes or crashes. Not sure what it was incompatible with, but I'm not attached enough to it to spend the time to figure it out. Better to just uninstall it. Thanks!

Not sure how to manage the rest of it, but I suspect you might be able to get some ideas for the first point by looking at the charging stations from What The Hack. Those sound like they do something similar to what you're looking for.

Okay, after several days of testing and reorganizing I think I've narrowed it down to a few mods, all of which add new races. These races are...

- Avali
- Cacteae
- Gerzee
- Gnoll
- Humanoid Project
- Mantodean
- Naga

Any suggestions for which race might be causing these issues?

I re-downloaded the newest versions of all the mods that threw the "malformed version string" error and tried again, but it still crashed. Every time it's crashed, the last item in the output log are these two lines repeated over and over, often for hundreds of iterations. Do you think this might be the issue?

I'll update what I can and report back with the results, but not all the mods in my modlist have updated versions for Rimworld v1.0.2282- many mods don't have updates available past Rimworld v1.0.2059 or even v1.0.0, especially since by not using the Steam version I don't have access to the Steam workshop and thus rely on versions of mods uploaded to third party websites such as Skymods instead.

Still, I'll update everything that has available updates and see what happens. Is it possible to manually edit each mod to fix the "Malformed (correct format is Major.Minor) version string on mod" error? What exactly does that error mean, codewise?

This is definitely a mod I'm keeping an eye on. Have you considered looking at OSU Dropships for ideas on the aerial side of things?

Update: It was not it after all. I uninstalled Rimcities and started a new game without it and it still froze in the beginning of Jugust- I was able to replicate the freeze several times down to the exact hour. This was the last item in the output log, with the last two lines being repeated hundreds of times.

Attached is the output log in its entirety. Since I've ruled out Rimcities, anyone know what else might be causing the problems? I've noticed that the game speed becomes stuck at two or below, a minute or so before the crash on a fairly regular basis.

How do I get pearls and oysters besides trading for them? Is there any way I can produce them myself?

Not sure if this is similar to your plans for the slaver fort, but the Large Prison Camp mod on Steam adds a much larger prison fort that you can get faction reputation for liberating.
