Can we revert the sprite for the wind turbine? It is objectively uglier now!

So I have this poor poor pawn named Monkey who recently took a charge lance to the kidney. He died. But lo and behold I had a Resurrector mech serum and revived him nearly immediately. I had to un-bury him twice because I had been dumping dead bodies in mass graves so when he came out he was covered in worms. Anyway Everything seemed fine, and Monkey did not seem to suffer any ill effects from him being resurrected. That is until one day he contracted Ressurrection Phycosis. It started with a few fights with other colonists, he went on an insulting spree, and beat up his best friend. Later he went into a coma. I feel really bad for Monkey, and almost regret resurrecting him. His fate seems worse than death, and he will be a drain on his colony mates in the following days as his disease becomes more and more advanced. Currently Kit, our newest researcher we recovered from a nearby enemy prison camp, is working hard to cure him. We are going to make him a new brain so he can live a normal life! *Mod*

I feel like this is a great story arc, but when I check Monkey's mood, there is no ill mood effect associated with Ressurrection Phycosis. You would think it was bothering him. Eating away at the back of his mind being thrust back into life with such force. What had he seen on the other side?

I wonder... Is the absence of the negative mood-let an over site or is resurrection psychosis a hidden mood-let burred deep within monkey's subconscious? I like the idea that it something that cannot be touched upon, like post traumatic stress syndrome. Something that just crops up without warning and seizes the mind, and not something that monkey actively thinks about.

What do you think?

Should Resurrection psychosis be an active mood-let, or should it be in the subconscious?

Ideas / Re: Just a few QoL suggestions for B18:

Weight based hauling as opposed to single item stack hauling. A pawn should be able to carry a stack of assorted laundry in one go for instance

The priorities system broken down into sub tasks like the one mod has

Greater control of production ques. For instance I want to be able to say could you keep 5 parkas on hand so long as the ones in my stockpile are greater than 50% and non dead mans

Assign research bench to colonist A. That will give greater control over who does what.

Input output stockpiles. I want to craft from mats in stockpile A and take to stockpile B.

Priority Hauling tool

Dis-allow non Dead mans clothing = Allow dead mans clothing.

Most of these are mods already but should really be in vanilla :_

If I had oodles of money I would buy the ip then hire tynan to do Rimworld II. Set it in space, on the space ship, fighting aliens and building your mothership. Explore strange new worlds, seek out civiliazations...Go where no Pawn has gone before! It would use the same engine and you would be able to import your 'saved' colonists from rimworld I. But Alas I do not have lots and lots of money... sadly.

I think it is your distance to the next nearest colony. The colony is what gives you the mission.

Every year the worlds global temperatures gets colder and colder or hotter and hotter. Eventually the planet will be all ice sheet or desert giving the player a reason to build a ship, leave the planet, migrate to a new more hospitable environment.

This one would be very cheap to implement and wouldn't be considered a "new" feature.

Really it could be a mod  ;)

There needs to be a different mechanic because if its possible to stop and scavange for berries you really shouldn't have to perma-settle the hex.

Yeah but if it was so that it did rain more often in swamp biomes, then it would negate some of the problem of fires spreading through a swamp. Like if the AI set the rain to come down on a fire some percentage sooner than it does on a dry biome.

I know that manhunter packs are very difficult to deal with having zero defenses and no place to hide. There is a trick to beating them though. First have one pawn walk in to the map from one side to cause all the man hunters to go to the edge of the map, then use a transport pod to drop the the second pawn into the treasure room. As soon as the transport pod lands retreat the first pawn back off the map just before the pack gets to him, then wait for the man hunter pack to stop going man hunter. It is really the only way to get the ai persona core when it is guarded by man hunters. I would save just before you do it because if you don't time it right the site will despawn before the transport pod lands if the distraction pawn leaves too early.

An elegant and simple solution to this is
A) Make the mineral scanner color code the type of deposit *White for Metal *Yellow for Components *Green for Uranium!
B)Have a switch on the long range mineral scanner to specifically look for (X ore deposits)

PS: Tynan can we change the ship so that it actually builds symmetrically!

I can never build it because it always turns out so ugly.

General Discussion / A good way to procure Uranium

I have a pretty decent colony, I have all the research and I am looking to build the ship to end the game. However I am having trouble getting any decent supply of uranium. Is there a better way of getting uranium than going through different maps looking for the small amount of uranium that could spawn in a mountain? You need A LOT of Uranium to build the final ship, but where do you get it?

Just wanted to say that I would pay for Rimworld 2 so long as the publishing company is NOT EA!
