Raspberry harvesting

Hello, I am a noopi, and I have a couple of questions

It appears that harvesting raspberry bushes success depends on the "grow" skill, since that skill is rising when attempting to harvest. But anyone will go and harvest the berries, regardless if they have "growing" selected or not in the work screen.

Is this intentional? Am I missing something?

Also, is there any way to get people to eat one type of food over another? What exactly is it that determines what they're going to grab to eat?

For wild plants/trees it is the "plant cutting" that needs to be activated and/or prioritized. The "growing" checkbox/number is for your farming.

For what they eat, I believe they will grab the best, closest meal they can find. If they have the ascetic trait, they don't seem to care what it is they eat. Apparently it was recently added that they now worry about what will be going bad first as well. It's all a bit murky!

Also note that plant cutting isn't tied to to its own skill. Success chance (when harvesting food plants) stills depends on growing.
